SUBJECT : OMNIBUS REMINDERS AND GUIDELINES

FOR YOUR GUIDANCE AND COMPLIANCE

In the essence of exemplifying the CORE Values of PCCM – SECURE being realized, and in the delivery of
developmental and basic student services of the college, the institution’s consensus on the following
concerns are deemed imperative and will be fully implemented effective immediately.

I. CLASSROOMS / LABORATORIES AND EVENT AREAS SAFEKEEPING AND HOUSEKEEPING.


School Property Damage is among the paramount concern of the institution whether the causes
may be of force-majeure or possible man-made property damages. Likewise, littering and
vandalism are also considered major/serious offense whereby, appropriate disciplinary sanctions
are imposed. (See: PCCM Student Manual-Classification of Offenses and Sanctions).

Reminders:
 CLAYGO and the 5-S System must be fully observed.
 Apposite use of classroom, laboratory and event areas. Class officers must supervise and ensure
classroom cleanliness including the turning-off the fans and light when not in use, writings on
chalkboards/whiteboard are erased, shutting-off windows, and the proper disposing of refuse in
the trash bin. Likewise, ACSO must ensure a pre-care and after-care system in every activity
conducted.
 No loitering and staying in classrooms when classes are not in session. This will minimize
energy/power use and consumption.
 Mutual responsibility and accountability of students and advisers in the maintenance and
safekeeping of the classrooms and facilities endorsed to them. (See: Property Office MR
classrooms / laboratory).
 Prompt reporting to the Property Custodian/Tool keeper of lost equipment, damaged items that
may either require replacement or reparation.
 Students are not allowed to loiter or by-stand along the covered court area, offices, faculty
room.
 Security officers will perform their routine roving in checking the rooms /offices and building
perimeter and report otherwise to the immediate head of any eventualities observed.

II. PRESCRIBED STUDENT – TEACHER CLEARANCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUISITE.


Clearance form must be fully accomplished before the end of each semester (Provide individual
copies of Clearance Form for the Student, Registrar and Program Head). The Office for Student
Affairs shall assign a scheduled signing of clearance per year level and program. This will be posted
in the Official FB Page of PCCM.

Reminders:
 For students: Will serve as a requirement for enrollment for the next semester
 For Teachers: Will serve as requirement for HRDO.
III. VEHICLE CLEARING OF PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY / PROVISIONS FOR STUDENTS-EMPLOYEES
MOTORCYCLE, BICYCLE AND E-BIKE PARKING AREA

No motorcycle, bicycle and e-bike will be allowed to park along the PCCM pedestrian walkway. This
ensures individuals for better and safe right of way, accessibility and mobility of persons especially
in disaster cases and eventualities.

This also addresses student/employee security and safety prescriptions under the CHED-PSG and
CMO No. 09 Series of 2013. (See: Enhanced Policy Guidelines on Student Services and
Development).

Full implementation thereof commences on February 5, 2nd Semester A.Y. 2024.

Reminders:
 Designated area for students: Aggregated/graveled spaces and along the right wing building of
the College.
 Designated area for teachers and employees: Space adjacent to Research-Extension Office Hub
and at back of the tree rows between the Student Plaza and Social Hall.
