The important role of materials technology in the world of construction

is as a basic and auxiliary material needed to build a particular building.

 The building materials mentioned above include various types of

cement. Iron and brick are the following types of building material

descriptions such as cement, iron and brick:

Cement:

The definition of cement is a runny and sticky material that is used as a binder for

building materials such as sand, gravel and bricks. Cement consists of the main

basic ingredients, namely lime, silica, alumina and iron oxide which are mixed

with water to form a mortar that can be used to attach building materials.

The function of cement is an important material in building construction because

it can provide strength and stability to building structures.

Iron :

The definition of iron is a silver gray metal that is soft and shiny and easy to

shape. So in this case iron is included in the first transition series and group 8 of

the periodic table. Iron is the most common chemical element on earth and the

most widely used metal.

The function of iron is other than being used as building material. Steel is also

used in making cars and trains and rails. Steel is also usually used to build roads,

bridges and various household equipment. Iron is a natural material that is

available in nature

Brick :

Brick is a very familiar building material and is very commonly used as a

construction material for walls, fences and other house elements apart from

using wood.
