    Definition of Terms

    For the purpose of this study, the following

    definitions are made for easier understanding:

    Impact. According to Cambridge Dictionary (2023). It

    refers to have a strong effect on someone or

    something, specifically in a certain issue or problems.

    Social media influencers. According to Grand Canyon

    University (2022) A person who has a reputation of authority

    or expertise in a particular area and who uses that

    authority to engage with large numbers of social media

    followers.

    Shaping. According to Cambridge Dictionary (Shaping,

    2023) Influence the form of something, especially a belief

    or idea or someone’s character.

    Public Attitude. According to Tanya Baldwin (2023).A

    settled way of thinking or feeling of the community about

    someone or something, it involves the behavior and treatment

    they exhibit.

    Social Media. According to social media overview

    communications (2021). The means of interactions among

    people in which they create, share and exchange information

    and ideas in virtual communities and networks.


    Police Credibility. According to Ethics in Law

    Enforcement (McCartney, S. 2015). The quality of being

    believed or accepted as true, real or honest.

    Police Integrity. According to Ethics, Discretion and

    Professionalism in policing (Ashley, D. 2022). This means

    that the police are functioning within their legal authority

    in accordance with established police practices in a fair

    way that is consistent with what the community expect.

    Content. Anything that social media influencers has

    posted or shared to their followers.

    Community. According to The Mystery of Social Media

    Influencers Influencing Characteristics. (n.d.). The huge

    audience of social media influencers, who absorbs

    information from social media influencers.

    Stigma. According to Department of Mental Health (2023 A

    mark of disgrace associated with a particular quality or

    person.

    Public perceptions. According to Cambridge Dictionary

    (2023). A belief or opinion, often held by many people and

    based on how things seem.
