Prologue
There’s no guarantee that it will snow on Christmas. Life isn’t some TV

drama or romcom manga, and when you’re living in the Kanto region, you
don’t get snow either way. Then again, that’s the trade-off for living in a big
city like this, so people rarely complain.
And now, I was walking down the street, with no snow, no white in sight,
during this Christmas night–all alone.
“Cold…”
Even though there’s no snow in sight, it’s awfully freezing. It’s like the cold
breeze directly found its way inside my warm coat. If I remember correctly, I
got this coat back in middle school from Shiya-chan. At first, I didn’t like it
because it looked so heavy, but she pressed me to keep it, saying ‘You easily
get cold, so you’ll thank me one day’.
While walking, I fixed the body bag I had dangling down my shoulder. It’s
already out of fashion now, but since I got it as a present from Miharu, I
treasure it nonetheless. It happened a few years ago, but she gave it to me
with a ‘Ordered the wrong item’ tone. This is quite clearly a men’s bag, so
how could she order the wrong item there, I wonder.
“………”
Out of a whim, I directed my gaze towards a window to my side, looking at

my reflection. Besides the coat Shiya-chan gave me, and Miharu’s body bag,
I also wore a grey beret hat, deep brown gloves, and a checkered scarf. It
looked pretty high quality of coordination if you ask me. But at the same
time, it felt like I was wearing a full-equipment of cursed gear…Although it
sounds pretty rude to phrase it like that.

Currently, it’s a bit past 9pm in the evening. Even without snow, the town
gives off Christmas vibes. Even a red fiat is driving down the street, albeit a
bit slower than usual. The red fiat I know would never drive such carefully,
so it felt odd to—Wait? A red fiat?
Coincidentally, the traffic light turned right, and the red fiat stopped in front
of me. And then, the door to the co-driver’s seat opened.
“Hurry up, Saigi-kun. It won’t stay red for long.”

Almost like a deja-vu, Maka-sensei leaned over the seat, beckoning me in.
“Come on, in with you!”
“Y-Yes, I get it already.” In a panic, I jumped onto the co-driver’s seat, and
put on the seat belt.
Right there, the traffic light turned green again, and I was pressed against the
seat.
“That was close, wasn’t it.” Maka-sensei played with the shift lever, and
stepped on the gas.”
Slowly, the fiat started moving.
“…I know it’s a bit late to say that now, but I’m shocked you found out about
my location.”
“Today, it’s actually a coincidence.”
“Coincidence?”
“Indeed. Do you believe me?”
“Would you get angry if I said I didn’t even care?”
“Hey now, it’s Christmas, so lighten up a bit.” Maka-sensei complained, as
she carefully drove the car.
Well, I guess she can’t just blast through town.
“By the way, you look quite stylish today, Saigi-kun.”
“…You think so? The coat and bag are quite old, you know.”
“As long as it looks good on you, old and new don’t matter. It just felt like
this isn’t your typical type of fashion.”
“You could tell, huh?”
“I’ve seen your own clothes a lot of times now. Unlike your usual calm and
safe designs, it feels…adventurous.”
“Is that so…”
Well, I agree that it’s different from what I usually wear. Since it looks good
on me now, I guess my usual sense is just bad.

“Sorry, is it cold? This car’s air conditioner doesn’t work too well.”
“N-No, it’s much better than outside.”
“Really…How long have you been walking outside? It’s cold enough for it to
snow even.”

It’s a fact that the inside of the fiat was heaven compared to the outside.
Sorry, Fiat. I called you a nightmare all this time, but you saved me this time.
“I guess a longer drive will be impossible then. Where should we go?”
“…Right, I want to go somewhere.”
“…Are you sick, Saigi-kun?” Maka-sensei gave me a troubled smile, and
turned the steering wheel.
She was probably heading off somewhere. Anywhere is fine—or nowhere at

all, actually.
“Maka-sensei…I want to go somewhere we can be alone together.”
“Got it.” Maka-sensei nodded without asking anything.
She really is an adult. At the same time, I just wander through Christmas
night, unable to grow up.
Chapter 1: Maka-sensei Wants to
Play!
“Sai-kun, Christmas is around the corner!”
“It’s not that close now, is it. It’s barely December after all.”
During recess, I lifted my eyes from my notes when someone called out to
me. Right away, I met eyes with the criminal, Amanashi Nui, who stood in
front of my desk. As always, she had kept her blazer off, which led her to
quiver a bit here and there.
“Also, exam season is around the corner. You were absent a lot as of late,
Nui, are you going to be fine?”
“Urk…I-I’m studying when I find the time.”
Hmm…So she’s busy enough to actually search for a moment to study. I tend
to forget it at times, but Nui’s a gravure idol, and a pretty popular one at that.
I guess her stress can’t be compared to a normal student’s.
“Mid-terms were a bit lower than before, but you’ve improved a lot from last
year. I get that you’re busy, but keep at it, okay?”
“Urgh…Sai-kun, you sound like a teacher now. Can I call you Sensei, like
Kuu does?”
“Go ask her, I’m too scared to do that myself.”
“Uuuu…Kuu-tan’s so young, and yet she can be so scary at times.”
I guess that just shows how she’s growing up.
“Leaving that aside, I think it’d be better if you went to study seriously, Nui.
With the coming end-of-terms, and the end-of-year exams, if you can do it
well, we might just become third-years together, you know?”
“You’re still unsure about that?!”
For some reason, Nui showed a greatly-exaggerated reaction, which led her
breasts to shake…Did they grow again or something? Guess I can’t blame
her for not buying a blazer since it’ll be too small for her anyway.
“…Sai-kun, what’s wrong?”
“N-Nothing. More importantly, you should focus on the exams instead of

Christmas. I can’t look after your studies, but are you using Shiya-chan’s
special notes she gave you before?”
“Ahh, they’re really easy to understand…But, the words she uses are really
simple, and she doesn’t use any kanji…I’m not that stupid, you know…”
“I-I guess Shiya-chan was just extra careful, I’m sure…”
After everything that happened during the culture festival, she still continues
to be my private tutor. She’s probably worried about Nui as well, which is
why she went out of her way to create such personalized notes for free. Sadly
it looks like all of that effort is wasted.
“As I said before, if I can’t win with brains, I gotta win with gains, and my
breasts won’t lose against anybody!”
“I don’t think you should be screaming that in the middle of the classroom,

Nui however ignored my retort, and pressed her dangerously big breasts on
the desk.
“…So? What was that about Christmas?”

dates during Christmas and such.”

Together with Maka Papa, that head nun is my number two on adults I would
love to meet.
“And, what is it now? You’re going on a date with me, right!”
“I-I don’t see the reason why you would suddenly snap at me like that! And
also…”
“Yeah, Amanashi Nui probably asked you as well, right?”
“You knew!?”
“Of course, we talked things through in the SID LINE group. Don’t worry,
we planned everything out,m so it won’t turn into a double booking.”
“I feel like that only makes it even worse…”
Going on a Christmas date with two girls, won’t I get killed in the process?

“You won’t change her mind. Saying ‘Nevermind’ this late into the game

Nui might be someone who wears her heart on her sleeve, always brimming
with energy, but even I’d be hurt if I saw her sad because of me…The
promise was if she managed to raise her rank compared to before, and I feel
like she would be able to do that anyway.
“Since you’re going on a date anyway, one or two people wouldn’t hurt,

Shiya-chan apparently talked with Karen-senpai, and left SID officially. Then
again, SID isn’t some public organization, so there’s no need to go that far in
my eyes.
“No need to fret, I am a nun in training. Even if you were human waste, I
would not differentiate between you and any other person. If anything, it is
my duty to save human trash like you.”
“So I’m already categorized as trash, huh.”
Sadly, I can’t even fully deny it. It’s really weird. In reality, I should just be a
normal boy who’s a bit rebellious towards teachers.
“…So then, could you wear your nun uniform on the Christmas date?”
“You really are turning into trash!”

“As if! Look, there’s nothing weird to see!” Karen-senpai removed the ribbon
of her uniform, revealing her chest from there, and lifted up her skirt to show

Her underwear was white from top to bottom alright. A black-haired beauty

Karen-senpai gave the key to the rooftop to me, and went down the stairs. I
feel like everyone’s pretty busy as of late.
“Nm? Not student counselling but guidance counselling?”
The student counselling room she visited during the blonde-hair incident. It’s
for people who need a lecture from a teacher for something they did, and I
was a constant visitor to that room myself before. The guidance counselling
room revolves around giving advice about a student’s future. It’s basically
used to talk about attending a university outside Seikadai, have problems
with attending Seikadai’s university, or have overall bad grades.
Karen-senpai has excellent grades, and she plans to visit Seikadai’s
university. Maybe it’s about a scholarship for the university? …But,
shouldn’t that already be written in stone by now?
“Maybe she’s worried about her courses…”
When we visited the university with Shiya-chan, she seemed mighty

interested in history courses. But, I guess you can’t choose that simply
because you like it.
“Not like it’s not my problem. Eventually, I have to choose myself.”
Talking about my strengths, I’m more into literature, but I wonder if there’s
any good degrees for that. English maybe…? It’s useful to have after all…
And, I figure that a certain someone would be happy if I chose that, but that’s
not good enough of a reason, alright. Maybe I should look past the university,
and what comes after that…?
“Urk, it’s freezing…!”
It’s a bit too cold to sneak up the rooftop now, alright. It’s not a great idea to
ponder about my future here of all places. Better head back to my warm
classroom instead. As for the date—I’ll think about it later. Can I really go on
a date with both Nui and Karen-senpai on the same day…

For a second, a scary thought filled my mind. But, way too many ‘No way’
scenarios happened ever since this spring, this can’t be possible, right?
Classes ended for the day, and I decided to leave the school right away. Now
that exams are right around the corner, so there’s no time to be fooling
around. Since the student counselling as well as English material preparation
room will be closed during that time, there naturally won’t be any
‘education’. It’s honestly scary how I’ve gotten used to it like that.
First it’s the exams, and now the double booking of the two dates…There
won’t be another calamity, right? I mean, calling a date a calamity is taking it
a bit too far, I guess.
My thoughts were filled with all of this, when—
“S-Sensei!”
“Guha!”
An impact like a ball hit me struck my solar plexus.
“U-Urk…Brutus, you as well…!”
“Brutus? Um, it’s me, Kuu…”
“I know…It just felt so nostalgic…But, it hit me in a different place than

before, so I guess you’ve grown up a bit, Kuu.”
“D-Do you think so? I only measure my height once a year, so I can’t tell too
much.” Shinju Muku—Kuu, tilted her head in a cute way.
She’s a fifth-grader at Seikadai’s Grade School Division, and already a

beauty despite being this young.
“Kuu, you need to be careful when coming here. There’s lolicons around.”
“You mean the people who voted for me during the culture festival?”
“Well, something like that…”
Having a grade school student win the high school division’s Miss-Con was

I feel like their positions as mother and daughter were switched.
“Ah, I remember. I received permission for the Christmas date from her.”

Well, I was watching movies as well with Mom when I was her age.

“Is it…no good? You’ll go on a date with the other two, but not with
Kuu…?”

Tears built up in Kuu’s eyes. I-I know that I shouldn’t treat like a child, and
since the date with Karen-senpai and Nui is set in stone, I can’t decline her
invitation…Wait no, I never agree on going on a date with the other two!
But, making Kuu cry is not an option…
“T-Then…walking around at night is no-good, so could we do it during the

afternoon?”
“Understood! It’s a Christmas date with Sensei!” Kuu’s face lit up with a
bright smile.
The tears I had seen just now completely vanished. Was I just toyed with…?
“Ah, wait a second, Sensei. I need to report this.”
“Hm? Report?”
Right after I finished my words, my smartphone vibrated.
‘Alright, seems like the dates are decided! I’ll focus on my exams then!’
‘I will see if I can get the nun uniform ready as well.’

I didn’t even have to check who sent me those messages. I guess Kuu sent the
report of the date to the two of them…Now that I agreed to Kuu’s date, I
can’t turn down the other two. What a mess…
“This is the first time I’m spending Christmas with Sensei, I’m looking
forward to it!”

The Saigi and Shinju Household were always fairly close, but spending
Christmas together was never a thing. Even if Kuu’s tears just now were fake,

Still, to think I’d be going on a triple date on Christmas…There’s no way that

home.

gyoza, this is perfect.
“Yes, it’s without garlic, so you don’t have to worry about tomorrow.”
“It’s really delicious with garlic, but at the same time it’s a bother to deal
with it.” Maka-sensei showed a wry smile, as she accepted the tray I held.
On it was the fried rice with gyoza, and miso soup, wrapped up so that it
stays good for a bit longer. We’re right before the exams. I know that nobody
is aware of our meeting, but meeting a teacher one-on-one still feels a bit off.
That’s why I wanted to take care of things here in the entrance of her home.
In that, both Maka-sensei and I are serious.
“Just warm it up when you need it. If you don’t feel like washing the dishes,
just leave them in the sink inside some water.”
“…Saigi-kun, you start sounding like my mother. Makes me feel all nostalgic
when I was still a loli, unable to live without her.”

My parents are living apart from each other, but they’re not divorced.
“Well, I’m out of that complicated environment now. More importantly, you

During this exam season, she’s probably busy working from home as well.

Sounds difficult. Hearing her talk about this makes Maka-sensei feel like an
adult after all.

own work, going on a date with you is but a feeble dream. However, you
should be allowed to enjoy Christmas, since you’re still a student after all.”
“…I always thought that you only get to enjoy Christmas once you’ve
become an adult.”
Not like you have that much money to spend. Especially as a high school
student.
“For a normal member of society, if that Christmas falls on a weekday, it’ll

be complicated. And the school doesn’t let you take vacation a full year in
advance.”
“G-Good work, I gotta say…Also, why does it sound like I’m being guilt-
tripped here…”
“It’s fine, just enjoy yourself.” Maka-sensei looked at me with dead eyes.
“However, curfew is 6pm.”
“Since when did you turn into my mother?!”
Even in Seikadai, who’s known for elite students, I’ve never heard of such an
early curfew!
“Either way, I’m sure Muku-san and Jinsho-san both have a curfew.”
“I would assume so, yes.”
Especially in Kuu’s case. Even if Kouko-sensei is okay with it, staying too
late is not an option. And, I have to stay as far as possible from any hotels. At
the same time, I doubt Karen-senpai can just come and leave whenever she
wants.
“But, what about Nui… I doubt her parents would be that against it, seeing
that they gave her permission to become an idol.”
“Saigi-kun, you don’t know about Amanashi-san’s family?”
“Eh? Now that you mention it, I never asked. Even though she always brags

“…I guess I should be teaching her some femininity once I’m free of these
exams. But, I can’t just reveal the family situation of another student.”

I mean, I’m happy that Maka-sensei is so forgiving, but something is off.
Even if I wasn’t as doubtful, I’d be suspicious of this.

Right when I wanted to ask Maka-sensei, her stomach growled.
“I-I’m sorry, how unsightly of me. Just don’t mind me, Saigi-kun!”

I heard there’s a lot of girls who would be embarrassed about that, but I feel
like Maka-sensei has shown me much more embarrassing moments than that.

I don’t think talking about SID is related to school in any way.
“Then, I’ll be excusing myself for tonight. Make sure to properly take a bath,
and dry your hair, so you don’t catch a cold.”
“You really are like my Mom…Mama Saigi…”
“Everybody just forgot about Saiko-chan, so don’t add another persona to the
mix.”
Thanks to the appearance of Saiderella during the culture festival, Saiko-chan

became popular again. Thanks to the upcoming exams, that fire cooled down
a bit, and I’d rather not rekindle this flame.
“Saigi-kun, one last thing.”
“Yes?”
“You’re going to give Jinsho-san and the others a Christmas present, right?”
“Ah…Well, I can’t arrive there empty-handed.”
It was quite the troublesome problem. I never gave a present to a girl in such
a scenario, and their characters are all so distinct, I don’t even know what to
give them.
“Then, I’ll help you with picking out the presents. Keep a day open after your
exams, okay.”
“Alright…?”
I mean, I’m happy she’d help me out, but…Maka-sensei of all people? The
teacher who is the antagonist of SID will help look for presents? She’s not
going to mess this up on purpose, right…?
“Congrats on surviving the end-of-term exams!” Keimi Shiya congratulated

me.
To me, she’s like an older sister, and a childhood friend. Of course, our
home’s living room is like her living room. She goes so far as to call it this
place her ‘Second residence’. I feel pretty similar when it comes to her home.
Anyway, the end-of-term exams ended, and today was the following day.
When I received a message from her, I was pretty surprised to find out she
planned a surprise party. But, rather than an invitation, she practically forced
me to participate, and as her younger brother, I can’t deny that.
“I already had a party with my classmates though.”
“You can celebrate as many times as you want, right?”
“Shiya-chan, you really turned into a party-goer after your university debut.
Also, can you really afford such a big pizza?”
On the Saigi Household living room’s table was a pizza, cut in half.
“It’s fine, thanks to my salary as your tutor, and the extra for Haru’s rising
grades, I can afford this.”
“Why!? How!?”
Shiya-chan’s been my private tutor ever since this summer. I don’t even
remember her teaching Miharu anything…
“It’s a great thing that Miharu’s grades went up, so this is her reward,” said
Miharu herself.
She sat on the sofa, pizza and coke in hand, as she had some of the ‘Pasta the
Italian Person won’t accept’. For the fact that she keeps eating and eating,
this little sister of mine doesn’t gain weight at all.
“Miharu, I didn’t get any of that reward.”
“Because you don’t deserve it? You’re not spoiling our new family member
at all, even though she’s so cute.” Miharu said, and looked over at the cat
tower, which was inhabited by our white cat Kagome.
Said Kagome had a blank expression on her face, just licking her paws. It’s
not been that long since she became a member of our family, and yet it feels
like she’s always been with us.
“Your parents are really kind towards Haru after all. Well, they know what
you’re like, Mako, and how you’d react when being spoiled.”
“I wonder…”
Well, they did press Miharu on me as they travel all over the world, but I
never once doubted their love for me. If anything, I’d be more doubtful if
Miharu and I even share the same DNA.
“They’re still spoiling you in their own way, Mako. I mean, you got such a
beauty of an Onee-san as your private tutor.”
“…Really now.”
I feel like they just chose the next best (and probably cheapest) home tutor
they could find, dear Nee-san.
“That reminds me, do you not have any exams?”
“We have exams in the first half of the year, and in the second half. The later
exams start in December.”
“Huh…”
Never knew that the university had that kind of system. Sounds pretty
relaxing if there’s exams only two times a year.
“Hm, Miharu had no idea about that either. Honestly, since the range of the
varying degrees and classes is pretty wide because of that, exams must be
more rough than at high school, right?”
“Yup. Classes are either all-year or half a year, and the half-year exams are a
one-shot chance.”
“………”
I retract my previous statement, it’s much more severe than I thought. Miharu
immediately understood that as well, unlike me. Well, Shiya-chan might look
like a gal, but on the inside, she’s still a diligent student. I don’t think her
grades are going to drop anytime soon.
“So, how did the exams go?”
“Just a question on how big of a difference Miharu has to the second place.”
“…You’re pretty confident, huh.”
Then again, the last time she went up to the higher ranks with ease, so I don’t
doubt her at all. I mean, I told her to take it seriously from the beginning.
“I feel like I did pretty good. But, I already did great during the previous
exams, so I don’t want to get on a high horse.”
The midterms left me in the rough top 50. It was fairly close, but my name
was hung up on the hallway, so I‘ll call it a success.
“I feel like most people are focussing more on the end-of-term exams. I’m
sure you can make it to the top 20 if you try, Mako.”
“Huh…Shii-chan, I feel like you’re the one being kind on Onii-chan.”
“I still can’t win against you though.”
I won’t deny what miharu said. Shiya-chan always teased me as a child, but
she was always protecting me as well.
“Well, the results will come up right away. Ah, this is great.”
“Onii-chan, wait a second. The teriyaki chicken pizza belongs to Miharu.

You can cut off a piece…or half a slice, but that’s about it!”
“No need to be stingy! Pizza belongs to everyone!”
“Even if you’re Miharu’s older brother, there’s things I can’t give to you!”
“We’re talking about pizza, okay!?”
I love teriyaki chicken pizza myself, you know! I guess we really are siblings,
since our tastes align like this.
“Okay, okay, your Onee-chan will give you a piece. Some coke as well!”
“T-Thanks, Shiya-chan.”
I was a bit surprised at that hospitality Shiya-chan offered.
“By the way, is it true that you’ll be having a 4P with Karen-chan and the
others on Christmas?”
“Pfffft!?”
That was close, I almost spit out my coke manga-style!
“W-What are you talking about, Shiya-chan?”
“I heard about this from Karen-chan. I honestly don’t remember raising you
to become a harem king like that.”
“Miharu would like to hear about that as well.”
“W-Well…Um…It kind of ended up with them going on a Christmas date

with me?”
““With the three of them?””
“Urk…”
Both Miharu and Shiya-chan stared at me with dead eyes. Not to mention that
Kagome was glancing over at me, judging.
“N-Not at the same time, but in order…”
“That’s the kind of excuse some playboy would make, Mako.”
“Walking with the four of them would still be acceptable, but getting it on
one by one is serious madness, big bro.”
“Stop talking like Nui…Well, you’re not wrong…”
Either way, I can’t argue back.
“Ahh, this feels so exhausting…Normally I would just eat cake and chicken
on Christmas, together with Miharu.”
“How luxurious of you, Mako. There’s no other boy who could get a triple
date on Christmas eve. At least not on this earth.”
“We’re talking about a global scale now?”
“Ah, so Miharu can have the cake and chicken all to herself?”
“Hey now, you’re eating way too much! Also…right, if I go on these dates,
you’ll be alone.”
“Hey now hey now, you’re not thinking of declining those dates because you
don’t want to leave Haru alone, right?”
“…I can’t, huh?”
“You can’t. Now that you agreed to the dates, you can’t cancel it. I don’t
remember raising you into such a child, Mako.”
“Can you drop that ‘I don’t remember raising you like that’ act? I know, I’m
not going to cancel the dates.”
It’s not exactly in my best interest, but none of them would forgive me if I
suddenly cancelled the date. I figure that Nui would cause a giant ruckus,
Karen-senpai would give me a harsh earful, and Kuu might just start crying.
“Leave Haru to me, our English circle is holding a Christmas party, so I’ll
take her with me.”
“Eh, really? Are you going to pick me up in your car then?”
“Despite being the vice student council president, you still are as lazy as ever,
Haru. Then again, I don’t drink any alcohol, so sure.”
“No partying for Miharu.”
“Ehhh! Even though you’re off partying with all those girls!”
“You can complain as much as you want, but no university parties. You’ll
only get sullied by these beasts.”
“What do you think of us university students…Most of the people in my

circle are girls anyway, and the few boys are all calm folks that wouldn’t do
anything.”
“Are you sure you’re not just scaring them, Shiya-chan? They might just see
Miharu as easy fresh meat. And then they’ll eat her up like a wolf.”
“You really are doubtful as always. I wouldn’t take Haru to some dangerous
place.”
I do think Shiya-chan will protect Miharu no matter what. But, if possible, I
don’t want her to end up in that danger in the first place.
“Also, are you really okay with that, Miharu? It’s full of people you don’t
know, so you have to introduce yourself, and remember their names.”
“Hmmm…”
Alright, gotta show her how bothersome it is.
“Right…Miharu honestly can’t be bothered. And then, Kagome would be all

alone.”
“Hey now, don’t turn into a shut-in, Haru. You can just take Kagome with
you. How’s that sound, kitty cat?” Shiya-chan reached out for Kagome, who
let out a cat shriek, and escaped to the corner of the room. “Huh? You
actually hate the idea? Maybe Kagome is bad with a beautiful Onee-san like
me…”
Leaving aside Shiya-chan’s convenient explanation…
“The thing is, Miharu was actually invited by President En-chan. We planned
to do a student council-only party, with no boys allowed.”
“I wonder if that rule was introduced because of a certain someone…”
“Shiya-chan, that’s too cruel for the both of us…But, if it’s Enri’s gathering,
then I don’t mind. I can leave you with them. If anything, I’m worried it
won’t turn into a party because of how diligent they all are.”
“Miharu can just take a nap if it’s boring.”
Should you really be sleeping during a party? Then again, if she feels
comfortable, that’s all that matters.
“Huh…my little brother goes on dates, and my little sister has a party with
friends…I’m happy about your growth, but Onee-chan is a bit lonely now.”

“I can’t help it, okay? This is the first time I was rejected in my life.”

confessed to countless times. After my university debut, that number only
went up many more times. And yet I get rejected by some high school boy,
isn’t that too cruel?”

It’s not like I don’t feel bad, okay! Also, don’t just say that while munching
on your pizza!
“Miharu, you were eating food just fine even after the election, right! You
even got top grades in the following exams!”
“You don’t understand a woman’s heart at all, Onii-chan.”
“Same for you, Shiya-chan. You came to tutor me like normal after you left
SID, right? Sure didn’t look like your pride was hurt or anything like that.”

“Well, it’s been a while since the three of us were together.” Miharu added.
“Right. If not for the fact that I’m your private tutor, I’d only be coming here
to act out my revenge.”
“You’re not even denying it now…”
Is Kagome my only ally here? But, she’s been quiet this entire time, so I can’t
fully count on that.
“I was joking, okay. I’m not really angry. Right, Haru?”
“Of course. Miharu will stay as your cute little sister even after getting
rejected.”
“…Aren’t all parties supposed to laugh when you tell a joke?”
“Don’t worry about that. Anyway, we’re allowed to tail you on your
Christmas dates, right?”
“Miharu has her OPS as well. No need to worry about losing him in the
crowd. With the newest update, the camera of his phone can take videos and
pictures as well.”
“Don’t just move the story forward! Also, Miharu, stop wasting your talent
on something like this!”
“Miharu’s final goal is to create an Onii-chan Satellite.”
“…You’re as scary as always, alright.”
“Haru might actually cover for you in the future Mako, ahaha.”

I’ve always cared for Miharu ever since she was a baby, but I feel like her
income might be twice as much as mine in the future, if not more. Also, are
they really going to follow me? Just when I thought I finally could take a
breather from school…When will I finally have some peace for myself…
“Hmm~ Hm hm hm~ Ahh, the fiat is feeling great today.”
“Fiat-san, you don’t need to be feeling great all the time…”
Of course, the fiat was as fast as ever. As a boy, I normally would be excited
like I was on a rollercoaster, but not when my life is on the line.
Anyway, Christmas was approaching slowly, as I found the time of the year
in the middle of December. Classes ended in the morning already, Maka-
sensei took the afternoon off, and took me with her on a drive. The engines of
the red fiat were roaring, as we drove along the highway. Aren’t you pressing
the pedal a bit too much, Sensei…
“Ever since it came back from the repair this summer, he’s been feeling great.
It seems like my money was well spent…”
The repair must have cost half a fortune. Although she saved another human
being, she didn’t receive any money for that, so the costs all came from her
own pocket.
“It’s fine! I am an adult! I’m so busy I can only use my money on cosplay
clothes! The repair is super easy!”
“Please use your money more carefully…”
I feel like Maka-sensei is blowing way too much of her money on cosplays.
“Money, huh…Maybe I should start saving for a lover’s nest I can use
together with Saigi-kun. I can have Miharu-san and Keimi-san pay us a sum
as well, and I doubt the cat would be against it. But, a 2LDK not too far from
Seikadai will cost us roughly 30 million yen…”
“Hey now, don’t go thinking of taking a loan for that nonsense!”
Miharu would try to get her kicked out anyway!
“Worrying about their own homes is the daily struggle of an adult, you know.
But, we need to think about other things to buy today, so let’s focus on that.”
“Please do…”
During our conversation, the fiat drove us to our destination, barely not
outside of traffic regulations. After Maka-sensei parked the fiat, the two of us
walked through the town.
“But, how troublesome that we have to drive all this way out here just for a
bit of shopping.”
“Can’t be helped, nwo that the rumours have finally died down at school,” I
shrugged my shoulders.
That’s right, today’s goal was for us to buy Christmas presents. However,
when there could be Seikadai students in the vicinity to see us, a teacher and
student like us can’t just walk around in the open. I’m exhausted of having
the same rumour going around. That’s why we made extra sure and drove an
entire hour over here.
“Yeah, I would rather pass up on trouble like that. With a disguise like this,
things should be fine.” Maka-sensei said, looking down at herself.
She wore a plain beige coat with slim jeans, and a scarf that hid half of her
face. It was greatly different from the suit or casual style she showed at
school. She even had half-frame glasses on, making her disguise perfect—or
so I’d like to say. Even with all of that, her beauty stands out, as she naturally
gathers attention.
“Same goes for you, Saigi-kun…that’s a disguise, right?”
“It’s a different coat from usual. I don’t stand out either way, so I figured that
I didn’t need a crazy disguise.”
“It’s a coat from Shiya-chan, and a backpack that Miharu bought before.”
“Even though you’re out with me, I feel so left behind…”
“What’s important is that it’s a proper disguise!”
“Well, let’s leave it at that.”
She sure doesn’t sound satisfied at all. We’re not even at our destination, and
we already got into a quarrel.
“But, don’t expect to be praised for your stylish clothes. It’s your duty to
dress up properly when walking with someone.”
“H-How strict.”
Dressing up when you’re not even that handsome feels like a waste if you ask
me. The clothes models wear in their fashion only look good because the
models themselves do.
“Hmm…Well, if you don’t care about the girls’ presents, why don’t we go
shopping for some winter clothes, Saigi-kun? Don’t worry, I know exactly
what limit my credit card has.”
“You already lost sight of your original goal! Who cares about my own
clothes!?”
“No, not at all. Saigi-kun, do you plan to wear your normal clothes on a
Christmas date?”
“…I see.”
She was totally right in that regard. I need to wear clothes that don’t
embarrass the other person.
“Maybe I should buy some tops and pants, I guess…”
“That’s what I like to hear. In fact, I couldn’t care less about the presents for
the girls!”
“That’s not something you should say with such vigor! Have you forgotten
that they are your students as well!?”
Except Kuu, I guess.
“Come on, I was joking. I told you I’d help out, so I will do just that. But, it
would be fine if I enjoyed myself as well, don’t you think?”

“That reminds me, since your exam results were hung on the hallway, I might
as well give you a present of my own.”
“You’d go bankrupt right away if you bought presents for every little student
on there, Sensei.”
We got the results back for the exams, and I actually made it into the top 50
of the year, 48th place. It’s only two, but I’m still pretty happy. On a side
note, Nui also managed to improve her rank. She used every moment to
study, be it recess or lunch break, which had her friends worried quite a bit.
Not the best kind of friends, I have to say.
But anyway, now that Nui managed to raise her rank, evading the date was
impossible. That meant that I would be going on a date with the three of
them, so I need to prepare for it, and ready gifts. I can’t say I’m too
comfortable doing these preparations with Maka-sensei…
“Haaa, I’m satisfied~ That was the first time I got to choose the clothes for a
boy, but I never imagined it would be this fun.”
“The employee totally thought we were presents though.”
She treated us like an older sister who was ready to spend her fortune on her
cute little brother.
“Ah, I’ll be paying you the money now, don’t want to forget it later.”
“Come on…I told you I would pay…You’re so righteous with the weirdest
things.” Maka-sensei said, and accepted the money.
In the store, Maka-sensei was the one to pay. If I had paid for my own clothes
with an adult like her next to me, it would have probably embarrassed her. I
doubt many people in the store would have cared, but it’s all to avoid any
trouble developing.
“But, Saigi-kun, we could have bought something more expensive, you

know?”
“This is just enough for me. We boys are all the same.”
There’s a lot of wealthy boys at Seikadai, but I barely see any boys who wear
expensive clothes or have other brands on them. Since I grew up without
really missing anything, I’m not exactly greedy. I just chose what I
personally liked.
“Right, I wouldn’t want you to turn into some womanizer. Countless of them
tried to hit on me, and they should be glad I didn’t have a gun with me.”
“A gun!?”
“Oh, I never told you? I went through a bit of gun training in America.”
“I knew you were in America, but I had no idea you took one with you!”
“I was joking. I don’t possess a firearm. I did shoot before though.”
“A-A womanizer?”
“The targets at the shooting range!”
“Ahh, thank god…I thought that I had to report you to the police.”
“You got some crazy fantasies…At least fantasize about our date right now.”
“This isn’t a date, we’re just out shopping.”
Oh, I almost forgot. We still need to buy the Christmas presents.
“That being said, I’ll only give you advice.”
“Eh, you’re not going to pick it out with me?”
I don’t mean to brag, but I have no idea what girls would like to get as a
present.
“It’s not like the girls from SID want some expensive brand objects, right.
What they want is something you chose for them.”
“…Woah, that was some proper advice for once.”

“Ah, I was just surprised that you only give rational advice when there’s
some sort of trouble going on.”
“That doesn’t explain anything, but…if you’re okay with it, then so be it. I
am a teacher after all, so I can’t tell you the answer, but rather guide you to
it.”
“Now that you mention it, that was your policy, right.”
I remembered hearing about that several times. And, since I was going to
give them presents, they were my responsibility.
“Thank god…I’m sorry for assuming that you would make me buy a gift that
would get hated by Karen-senpai and the others.”
“I know it’s a bit late for me to say that, but you really need some proper
education from a teacher.”
Well, my doubtful nature becomes especially strong when it’s related to
teachers. Not to mention that it’s pretty strong considering after everything I
went through.
“But, I was really lost, so I’m happy for any advice I can get, Sensei.”
“Urk…!”
Suddenly, Maka-sensei averted her face, and groaned.
“Your smile…it’s too dazzling! How can you be so rebellious, yet so cute at
the same time…! The gap is so destructive…!”
“I’m not purposefully doing that…”
I mean, isn’t it good manners to thank someone with a smile? Anyway, the
two of us walked around the various stores, as I received advice from Maka-
sensei. I still hesitated quite a bit, but in the end I bought three gifts for the
three girls.
“Thank godI found something…I just hope that they like it.”
“…Of course they will. Add a few tasteful words, as well.”
“…? O-Okay?”
I don’t think I even have this ability acquired in my skill tree. Also, what is
going on with her? Normally, Maka-sensei wouldn’t show such kindness
towards her enemy…She would never treat SID lightly like that. If there’s
one thing that’s different, it’s probably because she’s earnestly worried about
me. But, she still went out of her way to choose presents that would only
raise SID’s affection towards me…
“Alright, this is where the real deal starts!”
“Since we finished our business, let’s go home, Sensei. Um, the next train
comes…”
“Don’t try to make me forget the fiat!”
Tsk, I thought I could avoid that hellish nightmare.
“Since I’m part of society, I can’t enjoy Christmas as I would like to…But,
even if it’s not the main day, we can still have some fun, right?”
“S-So it was a trap after all…?”
“I was left aside for most of the sports- and culture festival after all. I need to
vent out some stress…”
“D-Do you still have a grudge because of that…!”

revenge, and it means that a woman is much more ravenous than a man when
it comes to revenge and love.
“But, Nietzsche-san wasn’t English or American, right…?”
I couldn’t figure out the meaning of her words, but I could tell that it was
supposed to be English.
“He was german. But, don’t worry about the small details. For now, we have
to enjoy ourselves!”
“Ehh…”
Maybe asking Maka-sensei for help was the wrong choice after all…
In this wide world, there exist so-called ‘Photoshoot studios’. As of late, they
offer cosplays for you to try out, even if you’re not an otaku. Now that I think
about it, Maka-sensei sure loves to cosplay, despite being into the actual
source material. But, rather than going to such large events to have a massive
crowd around her, she probably would rather try it out in such a small studio.
You can even buy the pictures and videos on a DVD, and take it with you.
Explains why they would make an entire studio for that.
To leave out the complicated explanation, Maka-sensei took me to one of
these ‘Photoshoot Studios’. This studio itself was located in an average
building in the center of town, on the first floor. That floor had several rooms,
all of them peculiar in its own way. A fantasy-type western residence room, a
Japanese room straight out of a historical drama, and even a classroom. In
other words, the cosplayers can choose their most comfortable background. It
would feel weird if a female knight stood in front of a TV or computer.
I can understand why people would come visit this studio. I always wondered
how these cosplayers got such high-quality backgrounds for their pictures.
Also, before anybody complains, I’m a healthy boy, so of course I would
look up some cute cosplay pictures, right?
“Still, this here is high quality…”
A giant fireplace stood inside the room. Although no fire was burning, it was
built with old-fashioned bricks, making you feel like you lived in Europe.
Besides that, the room had a luxurious wooden table, and a leather sofa. On
top of that, a small tree stood inside the room to create a fitting atmosphere.
Basically, it was a room perfect for Christmas. It must be a limited offer.
“Merry Christmas! Since you were a good child this year, Santa Maka has
come to meet you!”
“Figures.”
“Figures!? Can’t you be a bit more shocked?!”
The door suddenly swung open, with Maka-sensei—Excuse me, mini skirt
Santa Maka storming inside. She wore a fluffy red hat, together with a one-
piece that showed her cleavage and thighs. Her long boots were red as well,
as expected of her.
“I’ve seen you cosplay countless times already, Maka-sensei. A santa

costume is on the calm side, even.”
“Grrr…Saigi-kun, you’re not cute at all. Before, you’d panic much more just
by seeing my cleavage.”
“You trained me well after all…”
Then again, on the inside, I wasn’t all that calm. I can see Maka-sensei’s E
Cups right in front of me after all, and her white thighs look highly
suggestive. I don’t think I’d be able to stay calm even after seeing this 100
times.
“But, it’s not even Christmas yet. Why the Santa costume?”
“I told you that we can’t spend Christmas together, right? Then, today is our
only chance! These Christmas clothes cost me 27800 yen, you know?”
“Didn’t I just tell you to not waste money on cosplays like this!”
And yet, this is what she does not even an hour later!
“I don’t mind paying that much money. Your education is my reason for
living after all.”
“Please find another reason, will you…”
From my point of view, she’s an adult, but this is still a time in her life where
she enjoys her prime.
“…Being a teacher is like working at a black company, you don’t find a new
reason for living that easily.”
“Could you stop with that dry talk while looking like Santa, please?”
Seems like Seikadai’s High School Division really is like a black company.
Or, is it the entire profession as a teacher? That can’t be the case, right!
“Enough about that! What’s important is that I need to fulfill my desires

while I can, since I will be busy on the day itself!”
“Huh…There’s no cake or presents to be found here, though…”
Since my original goal was to get presents for the girls from SID, that’s about
all I have.
“So you only give food to the fish you caught, is that it. What a bad trait.”
“Can you not badmouth me as Santa!?”
“Don’t worry, I can live off rice and sault if it comes down to it.”
“I feel like you said the same thing before!”
She better not be living like that when I’m not looking…Guess I should make
her some dinner once we get home, since she’s using all of her money for
me…
“More importantly, Saigi-kun, I spent all this money on the costume, so let
me hear what you think!”
“H-Huh…Well, it looks great on you. It’s really weird, you look like a noble
and rich lady, and at the same time these lewd cosplays feel like they’re made
for you.”
“Fufufu…Great work, Saigi-kun. Don’t praise me too much, it’s

embarrassing~”
“Decide on one, will you.”

“So, with Santa Maka at your disposal…What would you like to do?”
“…Sensei, did you go no-plan after buying the costume?”
“Urk………!” Maka-sensei grit her teeth. “Y-You did well seeing through
me…You are sharp as always during the worst times…”
“I mean, your eyes looked dead when you were talking just now.”
I haven’t seen through her Unobtainable Flower persona for nothing. On top
of that, I’ve been with her almost every day since then, so I can pretty much
guess what she’s thinking.

The 24th is the day of the end-of-term ceremony at Seikadai. Once the final
homeroom of the school term was over, the classroom turned noisy. It felt

complicated expressions is probably because of the grade sheets they just
received.

“Of course I’m cold. However, nuns always wear this uniform, be it winter or

“We’re not wearing this because of our interests! Nuns wear coats in the

named Tama, with another girl to my right, as the boys shoved more and
more food on my plate.

Karen-senpai still wore her nun’s uniform, sitting across the table. From what
I heard, she made the majority of this food. Even that chicken, which is still

treated like a customer by these small kids.
“The children here are working really hard. Can I bring my little sister here

from the Senpai at school, like she’s totally relaxed. This might be the first

existence resembling a mother must be heavy for her.
“…Saigi Makoto, once we’re done eating, can I have a bit of your time?”

When I nodded, Karen-senpai started blushing again. Watching the two of us,
Eva-san showed a satisfied smile.
Under the condition that we could use it for ten minutes, the cloister was
opened for us. Of course, this being Christmas Eve, the nuns here must be as

Shortly after, a high sound came from the organ. Even if the nuns here are
fairly relaxed, and their clothes are too erotic, the cloister is still a holy place.
That only emphasized the divine melody that rang through the altar.
“Huh…”
I was wondering what kind of high-brow melody she was playing, but it was
your average Christmas song. Once that ended, another Christmas song
played, but one that was more popular overseas. It feels like a ‘You might
have gotten dumped by your previous lover, but cheer up’ kind of message.
After that was done, another popular piano piece played. Even when played
on the organ, I recognized the song.
This is the first time I heard Karen-senpai play an instrument like this. On top
of that, she used her voice I heard a lot to add the lyrics with a calm singing
voice. Her singing and organ playing resounded inside the chapel, and gently
ended.
“…Phew.” Karen-senpai moved away from the organ, and let out a long sigh.
I stood up, and gave her a round of applause.
“So you can play the organ, Senpai. I had no idea.”
“Of course. In my first year, I chose calligraphy instead of music, and I

haven’t told anybody at Seikadai.”
“Eh, even though you are that good at it?”
At Seikadai during your first year, you choose between music – arts –
calligraphy. On a side note, I chose calligraphy because it sounded
interesting. My little sister did the same.
“I learned to play the organ myself, and thanks to the other nuns. my level
can’t be compared to the children at Seikadai.”
“That’s not true, it was wonderful.”
I heard Maka-sensei’s performance before, but this might be even better.

Then again, Maka-sensei had a long blank in between.

“Do you want me to be honest or not? But, I haven’t heard music like that
often.”
“Of course. Can’t play popular pop songs here. The director gave me special
permission, but we are special in general.”
Most of the time the songs you can play are limited and regulated after all.
Even so, I feel glad that I got to hear her play.

Following that, she picked up a plastic bag that stood near the organ, and
took out something from it.

“Although I bought it from my work as a trainee, I couldn’t afford anything

I moved the cap on my head a bit.
“Yup, it’s warm. I actually thought it was a bit cold in here.”

Shiya-chan wouldn’t help me pick one, so this is perfect timing…Wait, did

Oddly enough, I wasn’t too shocked at her words. I wonder why…? Ah, I
know. Thinking about it, Karen-senpai had been acting off since the
beginning. The first time I caught on to it was during the culture festival.
Seeing her motivated while walking around the culture festival with Kuu, I
thought something was off. And now, today.
There’s no way the diligent Karen-senpai would agree to sharing me for dates
with Kuu and Nui. We could be going on a date on any other day, so why did
it have to be today? But, there’s something else. What is it…?
“Listen to me, Saigi Makoto. I—”

I couldn’t say anything. This atmosphere forced me to keep my mouth

After I went home from the cloister, I headed home once to change into my
casual clothes. Karen-senpai invited me to her home right after school, but
now it’s casual clothes time. That being said, my uniform might have been a
bit warmer…Now that we’re in the afternoon, it’s only more cold than
before…
It’s not going to turn into a white Christmas, right…? I don’t need any snow.
“Nekoranya…”
While I was thinking about that inside my head, I arrived at my destination. It

was a stylish store, with the name of the establishment written on a billboard.
To me, that store was all too familiar. Especially because I worked here
before.
“To think I would be asked to come here…For now, I’ll head inside.”
“Welcome! …Ah, just Saigi-dono.”
“That is quite the greeting, Sekiya-san.”
She wore a red sailor uniform, together with a red miniskirt, and the store’s

that much different.

black. She probably fixed it for the occasion. As always, Kuu’s sewing skill

Even now, I still call the two Nui-oneechan and Karen-oneechan. As for
myself, I am wearing Seikadai’s high school blazer, and Nekoranya’s staff
apron on top. The cat design on it is something I sewed on it, and I think it’s
very cute.
“I feel bad for using it before you actually open it up. Though it probably
helps you out a lot, Amanashi Nui.”
“It’s tough being famous, let me tell you. Can’t even walk into normal
stores.”
This is Nekoranya’s 3rd branch store, before opening up in the new year.
Since the preparations had been finished, I was given permission to use it just
for today. Since I went from regular to part-time jobber to manager, I

Seikadai.”

mature woman!” Nui-oneechan said, striking poses like she was a model.
Mature, is it. Of course, when I would throw a retort in like that, the
conversation would drift elsewhere. Since I’m clever, I won’t do that. This is
something Sensei taught me after all. For now, the two took off their coats,
and sat down on the chairs. In the meantime, I headed off to the kitchen, and
brought them drinks and some snacks I had prepared previously.

“Sorry about this, Shinju Muku. We had you do everything in the end.”
“Don’t worry about it, I am a staff member here at Nekoranya after all. And,
I’m happy that you rely on me.”
After six years, SID held another meeting like this. Though, the two members
who left previously aren’t here. Honestly, I never expected for us three to
meet up like this on Christmas, but that had me excited when preparing for
this event.

tan. How did you grow up to stay this pure?”

The two were taking a sip from their drinks, talking about the past.

“Since that Christmas, so much time has passed since then, huh.”

“Yes, I am very thankful to my parents.”
In my case, I was attending a prestigious private school, so not hearing me

out in that case—was too tough for them. At the same time, they apparently
were aware of me being a bit ‘different’ than the other children. They were
worried that if my environment suddenly changed, I would go through too
much mental stress. Well, I stayed home from school for a long time, and
often left my home so I can’t blame them. Either way, I already explained it
to these two.
“Sensei said that it couldn’t be helped, but…He seemed so defeated…that I

chose to stay here with my mother. In the end, I troubled Sensei with what I
said, and did something unnecessary.”
I’m different from Karen-oneechan and Nui-oneechan, who chose to leave

Sensei’s side.

it on the table. “Of course, it’s not the exact bottle I got back then, but I still
use the same brand. A friend told me to get something better, but…I like it.”
“I still use the key strap as well…although it’s pretty worn down by now.” I
took out the key strap I was talking about.
I always have it with me, or at home hidden. It’s a maiden’s secret, and as a
high school girl, you have a lot of those.
“I got these glasses. Great, right?” Nui-oneechan pointed at the fake black
glasses on her nose.
He gave this to her as a present so that she could hide herself, seeing that she
was a celebrity of sorts. Apparently, Miharu-oneechan figured out her size

That’s Sensei for you, not holding back at all. Apparently, Sensei tried to be
considerate with that.
“That night, I stopped being a member of SID, but I still treasure this. It’s
like a lingering attachment?”
“…Then I’d be the same…” Karen-oneechan groaned.
“Right now, I’m the only member of SID, and its leader, so you can join back
with my permission.”

rejoin or not.”

The three of us started laughing. We might even get along more than back
when we were SID members.

was just selfish. I can’t miss spending time with her now that she has drawn a

was plain as day that this must have cost a lot, and made me realize how

From President Karen, I got a cap, from Kuu I got gloves, and Nui gave me a
scarf. On top of that, Shiya-chan chose this coat, and Miharu gave me the
body bag. It’s like the entirety of SID coordinated my clothes…Now I’m
starting to feel regrets after all.

Yet, there was no snow falling. This was the holy night where the three girls
who had feelings for me gave their farewells. It would be perfect if it actually
snowed now, but the heavens apparently didn’t feel like playing along. And,
as I didn’t have any place to return to, wandering aimlessly through the street

—a red fiat appeared.
I want to go somewhere I can be alone with Maka-sensei.
Why did I say something careless and impulsive like that? I was always
careful so that the distance between us wouldn’t get too close. Or, is that
really the case? I might have complained all the time, but deep down, wasn’t
I enjoying my time with her? I mean, she’s a super beauty, and basically lives
only for her ‘education’ with me. Since I’m a healthy high school boy, there’s
no way I wouldn’t enjoy getting such attention from someone like her. If
anything, it’s weird to think I didn’t cross the line with her yet.

“I don’t know if I won or not. There’s still one person left.”
I know that she was busy with work, but Maka-sensei still kept silent this
entire time. She might have been considerate because she knew that this was
the last time I could spend with Karen-senpai and Nui.
“The last boss always shows superiority until the final battle. There’s also
times where the adventurers end up at a game over before they arrive at the
Demon Lord’s throne room. I’m feeling lonely there.”
“………”
With this, Maka-sensei’s battle against SID is over. Kuu is still left, but I
doubt things will stay the same.
“Anyway, we’re here.”
“Yes…Wait, why here?!”

The fiat drove towards its destination. To think she would take me here…
“Welcome to my castle!”
“……”
On the second floor of the second school building, there was a room ⅓ of a
normal classroom’s size, four desks in the center to create a circle. Most
people know this as the English Preparation Room of Seikadai.
“Is it really okay for you to take a student here this late?”
“Of course not. If we get caught, everything is over.”
“E-Everything…!”
It was a lot of trouble just to get to this room, as I had to hide in the back of
the fiat until we made it to the parking lot, and while walking through the
school, I had to be careful of security cameras, making me feel like I was
playing some stealth game. Well, Maka-sensei knew of those, so it wasn’t
actually that hard, but I was still scared.
“Also, did you already finish your work, Sensei?”
“I went for a drive to get some food and change of pace. I didn’t expect to
spot you there.”
So the two of us really are bound together by destiny…Maybe we really

might have ran into each other overseas.
“Ah, did you eat dinner already, Saigi-kun?”
“Not yet…I’m not too hungry, to be honest. I had some great chicken this
afternoon.”
“You have to eat something, although I won’t force you.” Maka-sensei stood
in front of her desk, and pushed away the documents.
They’re probably all documents I shouldn’t be seeing.

“Even though there’s no endless rain, why does there have to be endless
work?”
“No, your work will end one day!”
There was also a laptop on her desk, with countless windows open where it
wouldn’t be weird to freeze up any second. Next to it, the mountain of
documents. It’s a clear battlefield.
“I mean, no matter how busy you are, you should be able to go home, right?
Especially now that the second term has ended.”
Are teachers not allowed to breathe or something?
“I can take a break if I want to, but then it’ll be tough schedule-wise.”
“That sounds depressing if you ask me.”
“Saigi-kun…there are times when you have to work further than the last train
goes.”
“Can we stop this conversation already?”
It makes me want to cry.
“I do think that I’m the only one working this late. Hiyori-sensei escaped
before school even closed. She promised she’d go through this hell together

with me…You idiot !”
“I-I figure that she went on a date. She seems to be married as well.”
“Married? Hiyori-sensei is single.”
“Ehhh!? B-but, that ring on her finger…?”
“I don’t know myself. There’s a legend that says someone put it on her as a
prank, and she can’t remove it.”
“That’s impossible.”

But, knowing Renku Hiyori-sensei, that might just be the case.
“On a side note, Hihyori-sensei left this here.”
“…What a wonderful present.”
Next to Maka-sensei’s desk stood a small Christmas tree. I guess she was
trying to cheer up Sensei because she had to work during Christmas?
“That reminds me, Hiyori-sensei will take over her family’s business after
working here for a few years. Though, I don’t know what this family business
is.”
“Huh…Becoming a teacher here must have been tough.”
“I’ve known Hiyori-sensei ever since our high school days, but once that
happens, we won’t be able to see each other that often anymore.”
“……..”
I feel like Maka-sensei is trying to teach me something. She probably didn’t

bring me to school for her own convenience. There was something for me to
learn here, and she’s giving me hints as to what that is.
“Since you’re used to the elevator system here at Seikadai, it probably never
really set in for you, but human relationships change and evolve on a constant
basis. It’s not rare for you to lose someone special to you.”
“…Right…I guess I was too childish.”
I’ve never experienced saying farewell to someone important to me. I mean,

with Kouko-sensei, and the gal from middle school, I got to meet them again
so easily. However, Maka-sensei experienced farewells twice already. The
first time when her parents divorced, she was separated by her mother and
little sister. And—when her former teacher left this world behind.
“Maybe it’s because I’m a child…that I can’t stand this.” I sat down on a
nearby chair.

I’ve come this far, but even standing alone was too tough for me. I didn’t
expect to be this shocked.
“Karen-senpai, Kuu, Nui…I don’t want them to leave me. I thought we’d
always stay at Seikadai. But, those were just my selfish thoughts…and
everyone already decided on the path they wanted to take…”
“…Saigi-kun.” Maka-sensei gave me a glance, and closed her laptop.
She walked towards me, and stopped a few inches from my face.
“Hey, Maka-sensei. Whenever some trouble happened, I would act behind

the scenes, and feel gratified when helping someone. But, in the end I was
just playing around.”
“The people you saved were all thankful.”
“But, when a situation like this happens, then even I can’t do anything. It
makes me realize how much of a brat I am.”
“Jinsho-san and the others aren’t gone yet, Saigi-kun.”
“Should I chase Karen-senpai to the airport, and act up some emotional

‘Don’t go’ speech? Should I go out with Nui, and announce that ‘I’m her
boyfriend’ in an official video so that her career gets ruined? Can I really tell
Kuu to ‘Stay with me’, hoping that she will convince her parents that she can
stay here?”
“It might be worth trying that out.” Maka-sensei showed an earnest nod.
“…I was joking. I can’t do that just because I treasure them. I’m scared of the
responsibility of destroying their futures for my own sake.”
I’m a child after all. Scared of changing someone else’s life, watching the
people important to me leave.
“That’s enough, Saigi-kun.”
“……!”

Maka-sensei put her hands on my cheeks, pressing her lips on mine. They
were soft, and still a bit cold because we were just outside.
“There doesn’t need to be some dramatic conclusion. It’s not because you’re
a child. Everybody eventually runs into a wall. That still happens as an
adult.”
“…I guess I should give up, right.”
Maka-sensei embraced me, gently enough to suck me in. Her waist was so
slender it had me worried. Does she even have any organs inside of that
body?
“Was it…the same for you as well, Sensei?”
“When I lost my mother and Tenka, I couldn’t do anything. I couldn’t leave

my father all alone.”
As a result, she received sympathy as a ‘poor child’.
“The same was the case with Fuuka-sensei. I couldn’t do anything about it.”
Maka-sensei gently tapped me on my back.
Was it just my imagination, or was her hand slightly quivering?
“Despite raising her fist against all the delinquents at school, she said she
wanted to teach until she turned into an old lady…Even though she wasn’t
even that good at teaching, she said it so confidently…and then all of a
sudden…”
Not only her hand, but her voice was quivering. I realized that I made her go
through some traumatic memories because I kept blabbering on like that.
“That’s right, I couldn’t do anything. No matter how precious, how important

these people are, there will come a day for them to leave you. There are
wishes and dreams that will go unfilled.”
“Should you say that, as a teacher?”

“I’m saying it because i am a teacher.” Maka-sensei spoke indifferently.
However, I could feel a strong weight behind her words, telling me that this
was not an illusion.
“As a teacher, there are times when I need to tell my students to give up on
something. Even if they end up hating me in the process. I can’t complain
about what Hoshina-sensei did with Amanashi-san.”
“I guess so…”
There are times when effort won’t solve all of your problems. And I
definitely can’t ruin all of their efforts just because I want to.
“It’s a shame, but that’s my job. I have to make sure that the future of a
student is as promising as possible.” Maka-sensei said, gently embracing my
back.
So warm…and reassuring.
“Is it…fine to give up? See everyone off with a smile?”
“That’s for you to decide. The best I can do, as your girlfriend teacher, is to
comfort you on this night that left you hurt.”
“Maka-sensei…”
Before I realized it, I had taken off the upper part of Maka-sensei’s suit. I
think that Maka-sensei let her skirt drop herself.
“Saigi-kun…”
“Maka-sensei…Sensei…”
She’s my girlfriend teacher—neither my girlfriend nor my teacher, a vague

existence. I didn’t even prepare a present for her. Not because I didn’t expect
to meet her, but rather because I don’t think there’s anything I can give her.
I’m always on the receiving end. And yet, my hand wouldn’t stop. It moved
towards maka-sensei’s blouse, opening up the buttons.

“Mm…” Maka-sensei let out an embarrassed breath.
Her cleavage appeared, only hidden by her black bra. I swallowed my saliva.
“Sensei…over here…”
“Y-Yes…”
I had Maka-sensei sit down on an empty desk, and I longed for her body as I
sat on my chair still.
“You don’t…Mm…need to rush like that…”
“S-Sensei…”

is in the way, I wanted to remove it. So that I could look at her—my

There, I came back to my senses. I could see tears building up in Maka-

sensei’s eyes. Was she embarrassed—Or even sacred? I thought about it for a
second, but realized just how wrong I had been. Why am I doing this to
Maka-sensei? Because her body is overwhelmingly alluring? Of course, that
is one aspect. But, more than anything, because I actually—
‘That’s why, if Saigi-kun were to say yes, I will resign as a teacher and atone
for that as long as I live.’
The words I heard such a long time ago suddenly replayed inside my head.
That’s right. How could I forget? If I were to fall in love with her—No, I had
known this all the time, my desires just got the better of me right now.
“Saigi-kun…?”
Maka-sensei seemed confused to see me suddenly stop like that.
“I’m sorry, Sensei…”
“What happened…?”
“I already lost everyone from SID…”
Even if I still have Kuu, and the former members as Miharu and Shiya-
chan…I still treasure all of them.
“I don’t want to lose anymore than that. Not Maka-sensei…”
“………” Maka-sensei didn’t respond with anything.

She came down from the desk, and embraced me. It was a different hug from
before, overflowing with kindness.
“It’s fine, Saigi-kun…Thank you…”
“This isn’t sympathy, okay. It’s not that I would feel bad if you had to quit as
a teacher. Just…” I buried my face in Maka-sensei’s comfortable chest.
Warmth, and a pleasant scent greeted me.
“Even if we don’t have much time left, as long as you stay with me…then I
want to treasure this time.”
“As your girlfriend teacher, for as long as time allows it, I will stay with
you.”
That’s right. In the end, she’s still a teacher. There will come a day where I
won’t be her student anymore. When that time comes, we will stop being
teacher and student. I might be able to change the future of everyone from
SID, but this one future is something that is written in stone.
If we don’t have much time anymore, then…I want to stay like this, as the
two of us. Even if Maka-sensei only gives me kindness. I want to be
embraced by her warmth.
Maka-sensei, I definitely can’t say it out loud, but I will accept this. Now that
I longed for you as I did before, I can only accept it…although I had known
this for a long time.
Maka-sensei, I love you.

Epilogue
Time passed quickly as we moved through the third school term. It’s the
same every year, but as soon as winter break is over, and the new year
begins, the end-of-year ceremony approaches. We do have the irregularity of
the field trip being part of our third term, but that doesn’t really change much.
As for many people, it’s the greatest event in your high school career, but…
“Saigi.”
When I was walking down the hallway, Tenka-san waved at me with a smile.
Woah, her smile is so cute, why doesn’t she smile more often…A month has
passed since that field trip, but I guess that it wasn’t just me dreaming things.
I’ll tell you about my episode with Tenka-san another time. There’s more
pressing matters right now. I put on my own shoes, and stepped out onto the
courtyard, towards the crowd of people.
Today was this year’s graduation ceremony. All the graduates were wearing
corsages on their chests, seen off by the sophomores. There’s a lot of
graduates who were receiving flower bouquets. A few of them were crying,
but not too many. To me, it makes perfect sense, as they’ll be heading off to
university now. The chances of meeting the graduates starting this April will
be much more slim than before. However…
“Wah, this one’s no-good.”
As for the person I was looking for, Jinsho Karen-senpai, she was surrounded
by students all over. I could only see her between the gaps of people, but
there was no way for me to reach her. There were even a few crying people
around her as well.

“It can’t be helped, she was everyone’s admired student council president
after all.”
“Wah, Maka-sensei!?”
Maka-sensei suddenly appeared next to me. She had her arms crossed, and
looked at the crowd with a wry smile.
“I gathered even more people during my graduation, you know. There were
even people from other schools outside the gate.”
“Don’t make this a battle, okay…But, you’re right. Everyone now knows that
Karen-senpai will be leaving for America after all.”
A few days after she told me on Christmas, everyone at school found out as
well. I guess that her popularity did a great deal in gathering this many
people, as well as the fact that they wouldn’t be able to see her again that
easily.
I could spot Enri’s flashy blonde hair in the crowd as well. At the previous
graduation ceremony, Enri read the farewell address, and Karen-senpai the
address in reply. It’s pretty crazy that two beauties consecutively became
student council presidents. If Miharu takes it next year, it’ll be three in a row.
“Saigi-kun, are you fine not talking to her?”
“I already said my farewell after all.”
She invited me to the party at the cloister the other day, where I already gave
my goodbyes. Of course, said party was managed by Sekiya-san, so it was
messy to say the least.
“I’ll let the others do the deeds now, and show my face if there’s some space
later.”
“I see. It seems like Jinsho-san plans to head over there right away, despite
the university only starting in September.”
“She seems to be focussing on learning English while preparing for her first

semester. She does get a scholarship, but I figure she’d probably look for a
part-time job as well.”
“Well, Jinsho-san is fairly decent at speaking and writing, so I have faith in

her.”
“It’s reassuring to hear you say that, Maka-sensei. I was a bit worried to be
honest.”
Either way, Karen-senpai is leaving far away to a place with no relatives.

Apparently, the protective Sister Eva offered to come with her, but Karen-
senpai politely denied that.
“If anything, I’m more worried about Amanashi-san. Ever since the end-of-
year exams ended, she hasn’t shown up at school.”
“Agreed…”
Of course, Nui got good results, although she didn’t manage to make it to the
top 50. I still think she did pretty well despite being this busy. I mean, I did
my best to teach her after all!
“Preeeeeeez! Give me your buttooooon! And your ribbon as well!”
“A-Amanashi Nui!? Hey, don’t rip the ribbon off me!”
““………””
Maka-sensei and I looked at each other. I don’t know from where, but in the
blink of an eye, Nui was suddenly clinging to Karen-senpai, trying to steal
her ribbon. Talk about the devil I guess…

“T-Then, I’ll take Karen-oneechan’s skirt…”
“Are you telling me to go home wearing only my underwear!? Don’t

embarrass me in my final moments here!”
Or so I thought, but Kuu was with her. It seems like Nui took her along.
Well, they were both members of SID, so seeing her off made sense.
“So that young girl came as well…It’s a pain that she stayed behind.”
“A pain?”
That’s right. With the condition that Kuu wouldn’t run away from home
anymore, she didn’t move with her father. Although her father was wishing
to live with his daughter even after moving, he apparently decided to live on
for her sake. I feel like I stole Kuu from him…But, I am happy that she
stayed behind. I’ll spoil her lots in the future as well.
“Saigi-kun, you seem to be thinking about something quite disturbing.”
“N-Not at all. I was just thinking that Kuu shouldn’t learn too much from
Nui.”
“Well, I don’t think you need to worry about that.” Maka-sensei gave me a
sharp glare from the side.
A lot happened with her on the field trip, but we didn’t continue anything
from that Christmas night, okay?
“Still…graduation, huh. In barely one year, I’ll be sent off here as well.”
“As I said before, this one year passed terrifyingly quickly. Even more than
you might think. That’s why you have to use your time properly.”
“You actually something like a teacher would for once.”
“Stop saying things that destroy my character.”
Tsk, boring. Maka-sensei’s character as the Unobtainable Flower has been

breaking down quite a bit, but she’s still treated like a queen here.
“But, I don’t have to worry about your grades like with Amanashi-san, nor
fear that you might be leaving me like Jinsho-san.”
“Are you praising me, or dissing me?”
“That’s why, let me give you an exam of my own.”
“Exam…?”
Since the people around us were so noisy, nobody could hear what we were
talking about.
“This will be my final education — the ‘Graduation Exam’.”
“Graduation exam…?”
Since she was talking about education, I figured she was talking about our
special one. She’s not planning to continue what we did that night, right?
What is she planning?
“Ah, Maka-sensei, you were here! Please take a picture with me!”
“Ah, with us as well!”
“I want your button, Maka-sensei! And a strand of your hair!”
“H-Hey now, calm down. I’ll take a picture with you all—” Maka-sensei
complained, as she was pulled away by the students.
Following that, the photoshoot started. Well, I can totally understand where
they’re coming from. But, I wish they would have waited a bit longer. I
wanted to hear what she was talking about. Even though my third year was
only about to begin, it felt like it wouldn’t stay calm at all. And at the same
time, the never-honest Saigi-kun couldn’t help but think.
—I don’t want it to end.

Afterword
Hello everyone, this is Kagami Yuu. As of late, it’s just been me typing on
my keyboard, but I am also excited for the new game consoles to be released.
Then again, it’s not as if I am suffering through my writing process, really.
Leaving aside my private situation, we made it to volume 8 of ‘Boku no

Kanojo Sensei’. It is a wonderful thing for me that we managed to keep the
series going for this long, in this day and age.
This volume dealt with one of the most important events of a romcom series
—the Christmas event. I’m very glad that I could finally write the climax of
SID’s members. The series has been rather calm and vague at times, but this
volume we have some great progress. Then again, time properly progresses in
this series, so it was obvious we would eventually reach this point. Naturally,
the story will continue in the next volume, so I hope you look forward to it.
On a side note, I was planning on adding some more information about the
‘field trip’ of the series, and actually put some hints here and there—but I
actually didn’t think of much yet. All I know is that it will be the ‘Tenka-san
Arc’, so I hope you look forward to it. I myself am very much.
Monrin-sensei and Moshigani-sensei’s comicalization is still selling well, it’s

honestly amazing! We just reached volume 2 of the manuscript there, making
it the ‘Amanashi Nui Arc’. I’m sure that most of you read it already, but the
fanservice is quite the treat, so I hope you check it out! Actually, the third
volume of the comicalization releases together with this volume 8!
As for Oryou-sensei, I am terribly sorry to always ask so much of you

regarding the clothes and costumes! However, the designs look wonderful, so
I can’t help but be happy!

To my editors, my sincere apologies that my manuscript ended up late! I
don’t even know how to make up for it!
