NIFT 2023 registration; know how to apply online?

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is an autonomous institute that

offers courses in fashion, designing, technology and management. These courses
are very valuable. Today NIFT has 17 campuses spread across the country. The first
campus was established in 1986 in Hauz Khas, New Delhi. The campuses at
Chennai, Kolkata, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, and Mumbai were set up in 1995,
followed by the Bengaluru campus in 1997. The campus in Bhopal was set up in
June 2008, Bhubaneshwar in 2010, Jodhpur in 2010, Kangra in 2009, Kannur
temporarily in 2008 but permanently in 2012 and Patna in 2008. Raebareli, Shillong,
Srinagar and Panchkula were established in the last decade. To get admission in
NIFTs you have to score in its entrance exam. Candidates can register online for
NIFT EXAM at nift.ac.in. The deadline for the submission of the NIFT 2023
application is December 31st. NIFT 2023 registrations are open for all Academic
Programmes from 1 November 2022 to 31 December 2022 for Admissions-NIFT

NIFT 2023 registration

The candidates who will clear NIFT exam 2023 can take admission to the Bachelor
of Design (BDes) programmes — Accessory Design, Fashion Communication,
Fashion Design, Knitwear Design, Leather Design, Textile Design, Bachelor in
Fashion Technology (B.FTech) and MDes programmes- Masters in Design (M.Des),
Master of Fashion Management (MFM) and Master of Fashion Technology
(M.FTech). The NIFT exam will be held in offline mode but to register for the NIFT
exam candidates have to apply online for this exam. The registration process has
started from 1 November, 2022.

For Bachelor’s Programmes:

Age Eligibility: The upper age limit of the candidates should be less than 24 years to
register in NIFT exam.

Education Eligibility: A student must have passed the 10+2 exam from a recognised
board.

For Master’s Programmes:

Age Eligibility: No age limit.

Education Eligibility: Undergraduate Degree in any discipline from any Institute /

University recognized by law in India.
NIFT Application Form 2023
NIFT 2023 Application Form has been released on 1st November 2022. Candidates
will be offered admission into various UG & PG courses. National Institute of Fashion
Technology (NIFT) is a national level entrance exam conducted through online
mode. The candidates will be also required to qualify the Creative Ability Test (CAT)
& General Ability Test (GAT).

Candidates must go through following details regarding NIFT Application Form 2023.

 The application forms are submitted in online mode only. No other mode is
entertained to submit the form.
 The NIFT 2023 application form has been released from 1 November.

 The last date to submit the application form is 31 December.

 The application form will be accepted only by eligible candidates, so candidates

must make sure they fulfill each criteria before applying.
 During registration, candidates must not forget to upload passport size
photographs & signatures in the prescribed format.
 Incomplete or incorrect details in the application form will lead to rejection so
candidates must not forget to re-check the details before submission.
 All important information will be sent to the candidate's registered no. & mail ID.
 After form submission candidates must take a printout of confirmation page for
future use.

NIFT 2023: Application Fee

 The candidates who belong to general category are required to pay Rs 2,000
for NIFT exam.
 The reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/ PwD) are required to pay Rs
1,000 for NIFT 2023 exam. The last date for online registration with late fee of
Rs 5000 is first week of January, 2023.

Check following step by step procedure regarding how to apply for NIFT:

 Visit the official website. (Link is given above)

 Click on, “Online Registration for Artisans-NIFT Admission 2023”.
 Now click on “Fresh Candidates” to login.
 Fill the details such as email ID, phone number, mail ID etc.
 Now login using the OTP received & also select the program as per your choice.
 After that fill educational & other required details and complete the process.
 Also mention exam centers of your choice.
 Upload passport size photograph & signature in the prescribed format.
 Photographs must be in the JPG/ JPEG format in plain background within a
given size.
 After uploading images, re-check all the details in the form.
 After cross-checking the details, submit the application fee as per your category.
 Now a confirmation page will appear on your screen.
 Take printout of your confirmation page & keep it safe till the future use.

The window for editing of application Form will open in second week of January,
2023. The admit card (Online only) will be released in the third week of January,
2023. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 5th, 2023.
