Face Life's Challenges

Principal Hughes, Honored Guests, Graduates and Families

I wish to congratulate the Class of 2018.

I see from the beaming smiles on your faces that you are very excited to be at your graduation -
you certainly deserve it.

When I think of graduation at your age I remember well feeling happy, proud and excited. Only
looking back do I realize that also felt ready to move up to the next level. I think it is important
to appreciate how much you have learned, how much you have grown up and how able you are
to tackle the next set of challenges life and school have for you.

Grade 6 is a level when you really have hilt up strong skills in such as math, language,
geography, history and art. You also have great learning skills, a great class to go forward with
and by now you will have discovered so much about what you like to do. The simple discoveries
are often the best. I know you are all set for the future if you now know that working hard and
following your teachers' advice is a very good plan.

You have been very lucky to be at this school you have a hardworking dedicated group of
teachers and a Principal who would do anything to help your education. Remember education is
freely available and just takes commitment from you. Thanks to your teachers you are fully
ready for the challenges coming up.

Do not forget the very important people in this journey. That is all of you. Your willingness to do
well has given such a great start in life. You are an outstanding class. You help each other, have
fun, support and act as a team. Truly wonderful!

Congratulations once again Class of 2018.

Perhaps you wonder how the next stage in your schooling will work out. Some of you might feel
a little concerned. There is nothing to fear. The next stage builds on what you know. It expands
and develops your knowledge and challenges you and the teachers to find and develop the areas
you are best at. It is quite simple. The skills, ability to learn, ability to work hard and the
expertise of your teachers will drive you on to success. There are exciting challenges and
discoveries to come. You will be able to handle them all so well. Remember money and
circumstances will not get in the way of the determined student who works hard.

GOOD LUCK CLASS OF 2018
