This step-by-step guide will enable you to set up your email

newsletter in a matter of a few minutes. Ready to get started?

Alright! You are now on your fastest way to set up email

newsletter with substack.
Step-1 : go to www.substack.com

Step-2 : Click on the Create your Substack or Start Writing

button. The page will show the Get started section. Click on
the Skip button.
Step-3 : You will now see Create your account section. Kindly
provide your email address. Click on the Agree and continue
button. You may also want to read the publisher agreement,
information collection notice and privacy policy, if you want
to go through them.
Step-4 : Now it’s time to set up your profile. Provide your
name, your bio. You can update the bio later as well. Click on
the Continue button.
Step-5 : You are now on your way to create your own
publication. Web url is the entry point to your newsletter from
the web. Click on the Continue button.
Step-6 : You can skip the import of your mailing list. Click
Skip for now link.
Step-7 : You can skip the add subscribers. Click Skip for now
link.
Step-8 : You can skip the dive into your request section. Click
Skip for now link.
Step-9 : Yay! You are all set with your email newsletter setup.
Now, you are ready to play with your newsletter. Click on Let’s
do this button.
Step-10 : You have now landed on your email newsletter’s
dashboard as shown below.
Step-11 : Go to the settings section. Update your basic details
if you want to.
Step-12 : Next, you should go to the subscribers tab & take a
look at the subscriber welcome email.
Step-13 : Take a look at the welcome email & update if
required. Click on the Save button.
Step-14 : You will land on the Subscribers tab. You may now
add your email address as a subscriber to test how the
welcome email appears in your inbox. As soon as you add the
email address, the following success message will appear on
the screen.

Step-15 : You have completed all the basic setup to get going
with your email newsletter. Now, open the incognito window
and type the web url (the one you provided in Step-5 earlier) of
your newsletter in the address bar. It will show something like
the following when someone accesses your newsletter url.
Click on the No thanks link.
And, here is the landing page of your email newsletter, that
anyone can see with your email newsletter’s web url.
