Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at

Sought thine aid without being comforted inspired by this
confidence,

Despise not my petition,
O dear foster father of our Redeemer,
But accept it graciously.

 Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them
the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be
created.
And you shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray
O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of
the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise
and ever enjoy his consolations. Through the same Christ Our Lord.

 Prayer before the Gospel Reading
Lord, inspire us to read your Scriptures and to meditate
upon them day and night. We beg you to give us real
understanding of what we need, that we in turn may put
its precepts into practice. Yet we know that
understanding and good intentions are worthless, unless
rooted in your graceful love. So we ask that the words of
Scripture may also be not just signs on a page, but
channels of grace into our hearts.
Amen.

Lord, I thank you for your special presence to me during this

time. I thank you for the opportunity to know you and your ways
better. Open my heart that I put into practice that which you
have revealed to me. Thank you Lord, for the gift and love of
your sacred word.

 PRAYER BEFORE SCHOOL
O God my Heavenly Father, thank you most sincerely for this beautiful day, thank
you for this wonderful life, For parents who love me, for teachers who are
patient with me, for friends who are true to me.
O Holy Spirit give me the light to understand my lessons, the courage to
persevere when learning is difficult, and the strength of character to be always
honest and pure.
Bless my school, the rector & the teachers & all those who work hard to educate
me to make me a true citizen of my country.
All through today, keep me loyal to you respectful to my teacher and Faithful to
duty.
All this I ask through Jesus Christ Our Lord,
