APJ Abdul Kalam: A Great Leader

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was an amazing person who did important things for India. He was born in a
small village in Tamil Nadu on October 15, 1931. Even though his family didn't have much money, he
loved to learn.

Kalam became a scientist and helped India make powerful missiles. He also liked talking to students
and telling them to follow their dreams. He was very kind and always ready to help others.

Kalam believed that science and technology could make India better. He said we should use them to
solve problems like poverty and sickness. Sadly, he passed away on July 27, 2015, while giving a
speech.

In short, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was a great leader, scientist, and teacher. He showed us that if we work
hard and believe in ourselves, we can make our country proud.
