IV. Minors
In the case of children, adolescents or wards of the court, in accordance with civil legislation, the visa application must be presented
signed by the mother and the father or those who hold parental authority or guardianship. If the application is presented by one of the
parents, s/he must present notarized authorization from the other parent giving consent to processing the visa.
Minors applying alone or in the company of a third party of legal age must present a document granted before a notary public or by an
authority empowered to do so, stating the authorization of both parents or those who hold parental authority or guardianship.
In the case of minors, the signature shall be that of the parents or guardians or those who hold parental authority.
In cases where an applicant presents documents that have been altered, falsified or obtained in by fraudulent means, it will be registered in the
migratory databases and the applicant will be unable to obtain a visa to enter Mexico.
According to the Immigration Law and its Code, a Mexican visa allows a foreigner to appear in a place destined for international transit of
persons and at the migratory screening point, and request entry to national territory. Presentation of a visa does not guarantee entry to
national territory. Entering Mexico is conditional upon the approval of the health and migratory authorities at the point of entry, who can verify
at all times the requirements established in the legal provisions applicable at the migratory screening point.
The information contained in this application is confidential pursuant to Article 18, paragraphs I and II, and 19 of the Federal Law on
Transparency and Access to Public Governmental Information, and will be treated as stipulated in Articles 20, 21 and 22 of the same Law.
