On 27 September, 2019, he received a warning letter on an act of rudeness to an employer where he bluntly refused to apologise to the employer as instructed by the senior staff present at the meeting (see attached). Please note that the officer’s appraisal for year 2019 and 2020 also reflected his lack of regard to lawful instructions. This is submitted for your information and further action. Subject WARNING LETTER The above subject matters iy ie In furtherance to the fact finding committee that was set up to investigate the alleged act“ of your rudeness to an Employer (Cedar First Alliances Nig.) reported by Servicom Unit having the under listed staff in attendance as members of the Committee: Mr Bello Temitope PM, Enforcement Mrs. Yakubu Abimbola PM, Admin Mrs Adara Adenike PM, HSE Mrs Fulani Temiloluwa SM, Servicom Ms. Mogaji Funke Mgr. Admin (Secretary) Mr. Adebayo Adebowale Asst, Mgr. Registration Wherein following facts were established; v That the Employer Cedar First Alliances Nig, walked in to register at 3:40pm; > That Mrs. Rufai Dunni (Officer I!) and Mrs. Mogaji Wumi (Supervisor) ) asked that you allow the Employer sign out from the front desk register while he was still been attended to by you; v That the office was not completely empty as there were other staff around; That at the point of registration you realised that the Employer's coverage area falls under Ikeja Branch at the Regional Office; > That as you were describing the Maryland office through gaggle map, the Employer ‘was not showing interest; That the Employer preferred you describe the Maryland office verbally but you did not show interest either, - a 5 » That you asked that the Employer to leave the office even though the Employer was not satisfy with the way and manner you described the office in Maryland; <7 o > That the both two security men for tne omice ana Gi1U bulging were sui mug around as at this time; > That your action asking the Employer of the Fund to walk out of the office is an act of RUDENESS which constitute an offence in accordance with section 6:03b of the extant rules of the NSITF Staff Condition of Service which is tantamount to termination. 42 > That it was concluded by the committee that you call the Employer and apologise but you BLUNTLY refused; Your action refusal to apologise to the Employer as you were instructed by the Committee was an act of Disobedience to Lawful Instruction which constitute an offence in accordance with section 6:03b of the extant rules of the NSITF Staff Condition of Service which is tantamount to termination. v In light of the above, you are by this memo warned to desist from these acts (Rudeness and Disobedience to lawful instruction). Should there be any breach to this instruction, you will be sanctioned accordingly. You are to always treat all Customers with utmost respect and owe them in high esteem as itis often said that "Customers are always right” That you can be asked to work beyond 4pm which is the closing time, as stated in Section 02:01 “The official hours of the Fund are Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm. In view of the nature of the Fund's work, all staff of the Fund must always be prepared to work in such an extra hours as the exigency of the service may require. Failure to put in such extra hours when so required will constitute refusal to work or carry out laveful instructions and its therefore punishable as provided! for under staff Discipline in Chapter 6”.
