delighted to announce the flagship event, Communiqué 2024, The Annual Media
Conclave of XIM University, Odisha, designed to foster knowledge and awareness in the
media industry. This year, get ready for an enriching exploration into the leading-edge theme
of Communiqué 24 –

"AI-Media Nexus: A Bittersweet Circumstance"

AI-driven personalization might distort reality, locking us in bias-filled echo chambers as we


enter the enigmatic realm of the AI-media connection! Imagine a domain where algorithms
shape your reality, customizing newsfeeds based on your preferences. However, within this
alluring prospect, a complex maze of uncertainties resides. The thin line between truth and
machine-generated content blurs eerily, challenging our agency as passive consumers. Join
us as we unravel this enigmatic theme, delving into ethics, privacy, the future of storytelling,
and the very essence of reality in the digital age. Let's collaborate to shape a future where AI
enhances, rather than replaces, the human touch in media—a call to pave the way for
responsible and innovative integration of technology in our media landscape.

There are 6 imminent people from the media and tech industry that will be participating in the
conclave. The profiles of our esteemed speakers are as follows:

1) Ms. Namita Tiwari

Namita Tiwari, a visionary marketing leader with 20+ years of global experience, drives
impactful strategies at Wipro FullStride Cloud. Her expertise spans across, brand, and
content marketing, elevating tech giants like Accenture and HCL. As a TEDx speaker and a
catalyst for change, she wields influence at industry events and through her social media
channels, fostering inspiration for empowerment and growth.

2) Mr. Swapnil Sinha

Swapnil Sinha is a pivotal figure driving digital and marketing transformations for Google's
clients in India, employing analytics and consumer insights. His expertise spans across
marketing, leadership, analytics, UI/UX, and omnichannel strategies. Renowned as a
visionary thinker, he imparts valuable insights at esteemed forums, molding the digital
landscape of the industry.

3) Mr. Prateek Sharma

Prateek Sharma, an Associate Director at EY, focuses on assisting brands in reshaping their
business objectives and formulating culturally impactful marketing strategies. Acknowledged
for his versatility in storytelling across commercials, documentaries, and radio, he adds a
distinctive flair to his work. His multifaceted expertise encompasses marketing strategy,
digital transformation, customer experience consulting, and strategic planning.

4) Mr. Sandeep Balani

Sandeep Balani, Vice President at JioAds, brings over 19 years of extensive experience in
the media industry, showcasing his expertise as a seasoned intrapreneur. He currently
directs his efforts towards broadening JioAds' ecosystem in various sectors, concurrently
offering insights into leadership adaptations amidst automation. Widely recognized for
establishing Outbrain in India, he engages in educating prospective marketers at esteemed
institutions, playing a pivotal role in enhancing awareness of the digital ecosystem and
nurturing learning opportunities for students.

5) Ms. Litisha Mangat Panda

Litisha Mangat Panda, serving as the Head of Business - Digital at Odisha Television
Network, demonstrates remarkable versatility by adeptly steering strategic growth through
market identification and project implementation. Her extensive expertise encompasses
various domains including business development, marketing, operations, and research,
complemented by skills in public relations, organizational development, event management,
and film production. Litisha's adeptness in analytical skills and strategic initiatives
significantly contributes to the success of the organization.

6) Prof. Ashish Kumar Dwivedy (Moderator)

Prof. Ashish Kumar Dwivedy, an experienced academic at the School of Communication,


holds a Ph.D. focusing on gender portrayal in Indian advertisements and computer-mediated
communication from IIT Kharagpur. With a decade-long career, he bridges research and
teaching, offering insights into audience responses and communication dynamics, enriching
the academic arena as a proficient moderator and educator.
