KNOWLEDGE
Text: 1Corinthians 1:5.
Key verse: And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him
that created him. Colossians 3:10.

At the new birth, our spirit waa recreated, but that was not all that God did, the scripture says the
new man is renewed in knowledge after Gods image.

The scripture says, "For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the
Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ
(the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. 1cor. 2:16)".

As a result of being joined unto the Lord, we become one spirit.(1Cor.6:17). It's no more two
seperate beings, but one, which means that his thoughts are accessible to you as much as yours is
accessible to him. All you have to do is to tap into this knowledge that is available to you, which
lies in your spirit man, and before you ask about how to do that the scripture provides the answer,
"For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue,...he speaketh mysteries. (1 cor. 14:2)".

When you speak in tongues, you are speaking out mysteries, you are drawing out from the myriad
knowledge which lies in your spirit man, but as you do this your mind is not able to grasp the
information, that's why you've got to decode the information into the format that your mind can
comprehend. "Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing
with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. (1cor. 14:13, 15)."

Confession
Dear father thank you for the light of your word, I refuse to live an ignorant life, but one that is
full of spiritual knowledge and walks in the light of that knowledge in Jesus name. Amen.
