Generating electricity from sea waves

The diagram illustrates the process of generating electricity from sea waves. Summaries the information
by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where necessary.

The two diagrams show the structures and the ways which generate eletricity from wave power.

As can be seen, the machine is placed near the sea and consists of many structures such as:
column, turbine, chamber. There are two ways of generating electricty. The first one is when the
sea wave rises and the second one is when the sea wave falls.

The first diagram indicates that when the wave rises and approaches to the device, water floods
into the chamber. It creates pressure that pushes the air up in the column and the turbine rotates.
That rotation of the turbine is the main factor to produce the electricity.

The second diagram illustrates the same way to generate electricity by rotating the turbine as the
first diagram but with the opposite direction of sea wave. When the sea level falls, the water
comes out and the air from outside the column is pushed back in through the turbine. As a result,
electricity continues to be generated.

In conclusion, the flow-charts show the process of producing electricity from wave in both
phases: rising and drawing of sea wave.
