Social Media Addiction in High


School Students

Objectives

 The research has a main objective which is investigating the social media addiction
negative and positive effects.

 The aim of this study was to examine the relationship of social media addiction in the
physical , mental , emotional ,and spiritual health of the students.

 This study aims to examine the relationship between social media addiction and life
satisfaction among the students.

Procedures
1. Survey models are used to portray the world as it is at the time of the survey, with
students from High School ,Life Satisfaction Survey asking about their use of social
media.Data Collecting Instruments ,the data were collected via “Demographical
Information Form”, Demographical Information Form: Needed information about the
participants’ demographical characteristics such as grade level, gender, and department
was obtained through a personal information form.
2. Data collection procedures were generally similar. After obtaining necessary
permissions from the selected schools, the researchers provided onsite instructors with
elaborated information to administer the scale.
3. While gathering data from high school students, the principal and a guidance teacher
collaborated with the researchers. They administered the scale to their students as a part
of guidance and counseling activities in the school.
4. All the students were informed about details of the study, participation was voluntary,
and no rewards were given to the respondents for their attendance.

5. More importantly, the high school teachers and the university professors have not taken
any names from the students, nor they have shared any identity information with the
researchers.
