Sub: Declaration of the Result/NTA Score for the Preliminary Exam (Phase 1) for the Post of
Examiner of Patents and Designs – Reg.

The National Testing Agency conducted the Preliminary Exam (Phase 1) for the Post of Examiner
of Patents and Designs against 553 vacancies under DR quota in the Patent Office at 260 Centres
located in 103 cities throughout the country on 21 December 2023 (Thursday) for about 89657
candidates. The Examination was conducted completely in CBT mode.

In order to make the examination system transparent, the Question Papers and recorded responses
along with Answer Key were displayed on the website for verification by examinees from 27 to 29
December 2023. After verifying by the Subject Experts, Revised Answer Key were prepared and
based on these Final Answer Keys, results were prepared.
The Score Cards of all the candidates for the Preliminary Exam (Phase-I) are now available on the
official websites i.e. https://exams.nta.ac.in/DPIIT/ .

Candidates can login to the above websites/link only and view/download/print their respective Score
Card. No Score Card will be dispatched to the candidates in hard copy by post or through e-mail.

The candidate’s particulars including Category and Person with Disability (PwD) on the Score Card
have been indicated as mentioned by the candidate in the online Application Form.

Those candidates who will qualify the Preliminary Exam, will be required to appear in Mains
Examination scheduled on 25 January 2024. The dates regarding the release of the City Intimation Slip
and Admit Card will be announced shortly on the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/DPIIT/ through a
Public Notice.
