Speed transfer time Specify the necessary amount of time to switch the FCU speed

Threshold temperature for speed 1 Threshold temperature to turn the fan speed to 1

Threshold temperature for speed 2 Threshold temperature to turn the fan speed to 2

Threshold temperature for speed 3 Threshold temperature to turn the fan speed to 3

Valve open value Value to send on the bus when valve must be open

Valve close value Value to send on the bus when valve must be close

Hysteresis for valve control Defines when valve opens according to differences between room and setpoint
temperature

Valve transfer time Specify the necessary amount of time to switch valve status

Proportional regulation Defines which % then valve opens according to differences between room and
setpoint temperature

Regulation time interval Defines how often the regulation logic need to recalculate values and send results on
the bus

Temperature sensor Select to use the internal or an external temperature sensor

Temperature Reading and Calibration

Keypad Configuration
By default the sleep mode and time is configured in the ETS application for the best Temperature sensor
performance;
The parameters for the best temperature sensor performance are:
1. Sleep time or standby mode: enabled.
2. Sleep or standby mode time: maximum 20 seconds
3. Sleep mode LED brightness: maximum 10% brightness.
4. If non sleep option is enabled for any LED
5. For led functions STATUS and SPECIAL: ON or OFF brightness of any LED is maximum 78 points
6. For led functions TOUCH: DEFAULT state brightness is maximum 78 points

Out of those parameter will decline the temperature sensor object to transmit the temperature to the bus.
Led point Calculation:

(R+G+B)*brightness (brightness in percentage. In formula it represents 100% = 1, 1% = 0.01)

Example: RGB Color code 4E2D17 and brightness 50%

Separate by color and transform to decimal R: 78 G: 45 B: 17 SUM = 78+45+18 = 140 -> than multiplied SUM
to brightness 140*0.5 = 70

As result 70 < 78 so temperature sending is enabled

Temperature Sensor Calibration

1. Enable the temperature sensor

2. Set the write flag for the Temperature sensor object

3. Add the temperature sensor object to the group address

Please note that do not connect sensor to address 5/5/5
•Configure the reference temperature sensor to transmit the
temperature data to the KNX bus each 1 min (or by each
change more than for 0.1 degree)
•Add the referments temperature sensor object to the same
group address

4. In order to start calibration mode send the value in hex

format "CACACA" to the defined group address 5/5/5
•During next 24 hours or until next power cycle the panel will
be in the calibration mode, will gather the information from
the reference temperature sensor and automatically
calculate the offset.
•After that the temperature offset will be stored in the
EEPROM memory.

FAQ
Problem Suggested solution

Key-pad panel is not turning on Check the power supply voltage and the polarity of power connection

Key-pad panel is connected to the network • Check that the cable connector is clean and not damaged
but does not represent any activity • Check the cable termination pinout and polarity
• Check the integrity of the cable
• Check the keypad panel configuration in ETS project
• Check that keypad panel has the proper address configured
• Check that keypad panel received configuration from the network
• Check that other devices in the network are not making the short circuit on
the bus

Buttons are not working immediately after Wait until keypad panel application will start
power up of the keypad panel

The buttons sound is audible, but the LEDs Check the LEDs configuration
are not indicating any event

Only part of keypad panel buttons is Check the buttons configuration
