GUARD AND FAN THE FLAME OF YOUR CALL TO MINISTER KIDS FOR CHRIST

I thank God whom we serve together as a team of
dedicated servants. He has enabled the holy spirit in
us to give us power, love, and self-discipline, so as not
to be ashamed of witnessing Christ among teenagers.

I constantly remember you in my prayers, recalling

your efforts in serving Jesus Christ. I encourage you to
keep the pattern of sound teaching of our Lord Jesus
Christ. Fan and guard the good deposit that was
entrusted to you by his appointment to serve him.

Guard and fan the flame of your calling through
his word in times when ministry is bringing
sorrowful tears in your eyes.
Guard and fan your spiritual flame by having
time with him when you feel weary and tired of
doing ministry.
Guard and fan your flame of serving him by
spending more time in the quiet time when the
pressure to perform overwhelms you.
Guard and fan your flame of being visionary
and innovative, when you feel empty and
clueless by listening to the holy spirit.
6' "For this reason, I remind you to fan into
flame the gift of God, which is in you through
the laying on of my hands. 7' For the Spirit God
gave us does not make us timid but gives us
power, love, and self-discipline. 8' So do not be
ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or
of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in
suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.
9' He has saved us and called us to a holy life.

CAMPS are happening

...where friendships are made for life

Ministry is ALIVE in the Region. God's servants

are reaching out for a bountiful harvest for the
Lord Jesus. CONTACT WORK is happening all
over Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, and the Horn
of Africa. LEADERS are making friends and
inviting KIDS to various camps happening now.
The CAMPS are filling up fast. The LOVE of
JESUS is real.... Kids are encountering CHRIST
and LIVES are being TRANSFORMED.

CAMP STORY
I had a lot of fun at the Young Life Camp. I got to meet people from different
places, tribes, and different schools. I got inspired and learned a lot. I would wish
to come back because I had a good time and learned to grow both spiritually and
mentally and am going out there as a better person. Thank you so much for
hosting me and my friends and may God bless you all abundantly for your love and

Meet Mr. Adupa John Robert Akiiki

Area Director Moroto - Uganda
New volunteer leaders training - East Coast
Mr. Akiiki has been with YL for about 8 of Ethiopia, Jigjiga, Harar & Dire Dawa
years. He serves in one of the most difficult
areas in Uganda...where cattle rustling,
killings and displacements are rampant.
Despite the unending challenges in his
region, Mr. Akiiki continues to reach out to
kids who are deprived of peace and love in
his community, to share with them the
message and love of Jesus. We are grateful
for his leadership and kindness. New volunteer leaders training in
South Sudan
