Q: “Do you have a large or small family?

A: “Actually, I was raised in a nuclear family, including

Q: “How much time do you spend with your family?”

A: “I have my family members around most of the time as I come from an extended family. My
grandparents, parents, two aunts and one uncle have all lived together for nearly 15 years.”

Q: Do you get along well with your family members?

A: Not really, unfortunately. I had a very strict upbringing, I mean my parents have
always been hard on me. To be honest, I don’t really enjoy their company.

Yes, I get on very well with my family members. They are such supportive, positive and
caring people. I would not say that we never had any disagreement but that’s usually
momentary, and I feel like we understand each other better after such occasions.

Q: What do you like to do together as a family?

A: We do different leisure activities together, mostly at the weekends, you know,

watching movies, playing cards or preparing meals. My parents and I have a harmonious
relationship.

Hoặc A: Actually the relationship between my parents and me is quite strained, so we

don’t spend much time with each other on a daily basis. Frankly speaking, I can’t even
recall the last time we had dinner together.

Whenever I am home, we always have meals together and talk about our day.
Sometimes, they give me valuable advice on my career and personal life. We enjoy
traveling together too, especially going to the beach.

Q: Who are you closest to the most in your family?

A: My mom, I guess. She has really good parenting skills, so to me, she’s not only like a
teacher, but also a friend to whom I can confess whenever I encounter difficulties in life.

I am close to every single family member in my own way. However, in terms of sharing
personal secrets and spending time, I am closer to my mother than my father. I think it
is because we are the only women in the family, we share the same ideas about many
things and she always supports me.

Q: Who is more important to you: your family or your friends?

A: Coming from a broken home, I hardly see my family members. So to me, friends are
much more important.
