blessing, knowledge, and opportunity to us, so that we have been able to complete this proposal.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks of gratitude to our amazing lecturer, Madam
Asiah Bt Mat for her guidance, support and opportunity in doing this assignment for the subject
Introduction to Interactive Multimedia (CSC 413). It has been a privileged to work under her
guidance and support. This proposal helps us improved our skills in doing project management
as well as increasing our knowledge because it gives us in-depth understanding about the project
development. The opportunity to be able to do this assignment is very much helping us discover
more regarding the issues among students in UiTM Kota Bharu.

Furthermore, we would like to extend our gratitude to each of the team members and classmates
for lending a hand and for always be there through the entire journey of completing this
assignment. Thank you for helping us in times we were having difficulties in understanding the
instructions or questions as well helping us to put these ideas well above the level of simplicity
into something concrete.

Lastly, we would like to sincerely thank Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) for offering this
subject as a golden opportunity as it helps to improve skills and gain more knowledge in doing the
overall project.

1. PROJECT OVERVIEW

The area of Palestine is one of the most disputed in the world, and has been for hundreds,
if not thousands, of years. Even the area that is considered Palestine is not agreed upon, and those
who generally concur on Palestine’s borders differ on who rightfully owns the land and who should
be allowed to stay there. Palestine, defined by most sources commonly known as West Bank, and
Gaza, has been fought over from a lot time ago and it comes after 73 years of fighting for freedom,
at least thousands of people have been killed and most of those deaths have been Palestinians in
Palestine. After decades of war, terrorism, peace negotiation and human suffering, Israel and
Palestine remain as far from a peaceful settlement as ever.

This project illustrates how Israel has been occupying the Palestinians territories of the
West bank and Gaza since 1967. Palestinians’ refugees when Israel was created are forcibly denied
their right to return. Palestinians in Gaza are essentially trapped, with nearly small access to the
outside world restricted by Israel. It all started this year during Ramadhan which is a sacred time
of the year for the devout Muslims. The holy month began days as after the Israelis military kills
62 protestors in Gaza and the number has nearly doubled since then. Stated-backed Israeli settles
are ethnically cleansing Palestinians from occupied east Jerusalem, displacing Palestinians from
their homes so settlers can move in and take over.

Moreover, there are 65 laws in which Israel discriminate against Palestinian’s citizens.
Palestinians in the West Bank live under hard military rules, in which they have no voice while
Jewish settlers there live under civilian law. Israel’s practices toward Palestinians people amounts
to an institutionalized regime of systematic oppressions the ethnic cleansing continues to this day,
with ongoing evictions, home demolitions an illegal settlement constructions.

There are still a lot of people who do not know about the History of Palestine and the
Palestinian cause. Therefore, this project is to educate people in regards of Palestine and encourage
people to rise in solidarity with Palestine. This animation also will help shine a light on Palestinians
stories and grow support for Palestinians rights. It is also waking up people to be fully aware that
we do not need to be a Muslim or a Palestinian to stand up against Israel, we just need to be a
human. Therefore, we hope that this mini project will give benefits to people who will be watching.

2. AIM AND OBJECTIVES

i. This project aims to educate people the truth, spread awareness and help shine a light on
Palestinians stories as well as grow support for Palestinians rights.
ii. To illustrates the History of Palestine for those who want to learn more about Palestine
issues that has been going on since decades.
iii. To show to the people about the Israeli war crimes, ethnic cleansing, apartheid as well as
genocide and the killing of innocent people.
iv. To improve our creativity, skills in multimedia applications that support teaching and
learning through the use of technological tools to facilitate learning and to explore complex
dimensions of knowledge.
v. To utilize the animation tools that makes us be able to tell stories and communicate
emotions and ideas in a unique, easy-to-perceive way that both small children and adults
can understand.
vi. This project also aims at enhancing each of the team member’s skills by the delegation of
suitable tasks through discussion and video planning, and finally came out with good-
quality audio as well as having stable video footage that can be good for this mini project.

3. MORAL VALUE

Due to the worst flare-up in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in years has raised fears of a
further escalation and prompted statements of grave concern from Asia, we can learn several moral
values from this project.

We humans are living in the world with various religions in various countries as a whole
and every human in this world deserves to have their Human rights. Human rights are the basic
rights and freedoms that belong to every person in the world, from birth until death. As for the
case of the Palestinians, they are supposed to have the rights to equal protection under the law, the
right to freedom of movement and worship, the right to protection of property, and the right to
unhindered opportunity for economic development and also the rights of children are lifted up for
special care regardless of what religions they are whether a Muslims, Christians or Jews.

Besides, one of the moral values that is crucial is the morality today which we cannot take
advantages of people’ kindness as what happened to Palestine. They actually allowed the Israeli
refugees to enter their country and later become the oppressors who slowly occupied Palestine.
Israel has done a lot of crimes to systematically forced removal or extermination of the Palestinians
and practices apartheid. Moreover, the United States of America is supporting Israel by providing
funds for Israel to possess the weapons in committing genocide and the killing of the innocent
people.

Next, in Malaysia, which does not have formal relations with Israel and vocally supports
the Palestinian cause, we need to show that with respect to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian’s
territories, Malaysia has strongly stood up for the rights and freedoms of the Palestinians and has
supported the struggles of the Palestinians. Malaysia also currently refuses to recognize the State
of Israel until a peace agreement is reached to realize the two-state solution. Therefore, we can
conclude that we can spread awareness by giving Palestine moral supports and Malaysia will
continue giving its support to the struggle of the Palestinians and called out on the world
community, especially the United Nations (UN), to immediately find the best solution to the
controversial peace plan in the region.

Moreover, it is very important for the people all around the world to keep on spreading
awareness in regard of the Palestine and the Palestinians cause. We have to educate ourselves and
show moral support through movies and literature to blogs and informative new sources, there is
a lot of information out there about Palestine and the current situation. This is crucial as the only
way to stop the Israel’s occupation and war crimes; the voice must be louder than before, and it
requires people from all countries to unite and fight for Palestinians. This can be done through
donations and spreading awareness in social media to put it to light regarding the crimes committed
by the Israeli people. For example, Israel has committed a lot of crimes and kill innocent children
in many ways. The importance of the Masjidil A-Aqsa for the Muslims also needs to be respected.
It is time for the Palestinians to taste freedom hence people all around the world need to rise in
solidarity with Palestine.

Lastly, we need to build community through social, economic, and political enterprises that
can increase capacity and support for reconciliation. For example, by doing this, the State of Israel,
the Palestinian Authority, and other bodies publicize Israeli and Palestinian actions can contribute
to peaceful coexistence and mutual respect. Hence, this projects purposely has a lot of moral values
to be learned.

4. TARGET AUDIENCE

This project is held for people who does not know anything about what happen in Palestine
right now. It is easily for people to understand the conflict between Palestine and Israel. Anyone
who is interested in understanding about the conflict Palestine-Israel will find something valuable
in this project, but our main target audiences are teenagers and adult because it easy for them to
spread awareness among others and also to the world about what happen to the Palestine right
now.

6. SCHEDULE – GANTT CHART

According to Anderson, B. (2021), Gantt Chart is a timeline used in a project management


to illustrate how a project will run. It shows tasks, durations and the sequencing of tasks until the
completion of the project. It helps to smooth the project plan based on the expected completion
date in a proposal. It can be used to understand the requirements of the project and the key
milestone.
