Hi, introducing myself today not only as a candidate but also as a

teacher and a symbol of hope. I stand before you to passionately
advocate for the transformative power of basic education and literacy.
Let us shine a spotlight on a critical aspect often overlooked – the lack
of reading comprehension among our children in our country.
According to research, the Philippines rank one of the lowest countries
in reading. So, as to give solution at least a step in our own community,
we advocate for community-based reading initiatives which provide
access to a diverse range of reading materials and hosting reading
sessions that enhance comprehension skills.
Let us support reading for empowerment. By advocating for inclusive
reading comprehension initiatives in our community and the digital
realm, we ensure that children are not just literate but empowered to
navigate the complexities of our information-rich world. Together, let us
build communities where reading is a transformative force, unlocking
the doors to knowledge, understanding, and empowerment. Thank you.
