Reasons why the schools are implementing ADM

ADM was introduced to address the learning needs of students and those learners at risk of dropping out to help them overcome social and
economic constraints of their schooling. It also helps learners outside of the regular school system acquire the needed basic education
competencies and life skills.

SCHOOL ADM’S TEAM

The successful implementation and utilization of ADM depends greatly on the collective efforts and support of stakeholders. Education of our
children is not the sole concern of one person, or organization, but everyone.

8. Issues/Concerns/Challenges encountered Present and discuss how the implementation of ADM contributed to schools/district/division.

Challenges always come along the way especially in every new setting and in every innovation that every individual must face or experience.
Learning resource production and dissemination is not spared. However, these challenges create a new opportunity to improve the delivery
and service of teachers to learners. Although the process will be quite tricky and difficult, what prevails will be the will of teachers of continued
learning among learners. Education is an agent of change towards the formation of the intended projection which requires education reform to
meet the obligation with the compulsive detailed of information to achieve the goals of achieving the vision and mission towards academic
excellence. The printing of learning resources is one of the greatest challenges that teachers experienced, limited resources and fund in doing
so is one of the factors that made it more challenging. Though we know that there will be printed modules that will be delivered but it will really
take time on the processing and the classes can’t wait. So, teachers took an initiative to spend their weekends and holidays printing the
learning resources.

7. SCHOOLS GAINS/SUCCESS.

The Alternative Delivery Mode relies on independent learning through the use of modules in delivering secondary education. It combines self-
paced modular methods with face-to-face interaction, allowing learners to study at their own pace but reinforcing instruction and guidance
through home visitation. It offers learners who are out of school and those at risk of dropping out more flexibility in terms of time and learning
pace.
But, despite limitations, the ADM has proven to be an effective response to curtailing the increase in dropout rates, keeping the would-be
school leavers, and decongesting overcrowded classrooms.
