BUFFERING CAPACITY OF THE SALIVA

Conclusion

We there concluded that the beverages that was being used in the experiment
has may different results, even the 3 donors have the same pH of saliva that was acidic.
The soda wherein the first saliva donor tested, it started with a pH level of acidic
immediately when it was intake then after 30 minutes the pH level became neutral until
one hour. Then, the low fat milk that was intake by the second saliva donor started with
a pH level of neutral then it became acidic in 20 minutes and it change into neutral until
one hour passed. Lastly, the pineapple juice is started with a pH level of acidic then
after 10 minutes until one hour passed it was still stable as neutral.
