Hi! Thanks for your last message.
We're doing a project about early childhood. Please can you answer my questions
about when you were little?
1 Did you use to eat all kinds of food, or was there anything you used to hate?
What was it? Do you like it now?
2 What TV programmes did you use to watch when you were five or six?
Were there any that you didn't use to like?
3 What games did you use to play? Did you use to play outside?
Where did you use to go, and who used to play with you?
4 Did babysitters use to look after you sometimes? What can you remember about them?
5 Did you use to have homework when you were younger? How much?
That's all! Thanks a lot.

W illiam Shakespeare wrote this

famous play. It’s about two young lovers
from families who hated each other.
W e know that Juliet was thirteen in
the story, and Romeo was probably
about sixteen.
One day, Romeo and some of his
friends went to a big party at Juliet’s
house, although they hadn’t been
invited, of course. Romeo met Juliet and
they fell in love immediately. However,
they couldn’t meet easily because of the
war between their families.
Juliet told her nurse that she loved
Romeo, and that they were going to get
married. The nurse said that she would
help them, and she did. Unfortunately,
everything went wrong.
Juliet needed to escape from her
house, so she made a plan. She drank
some special medicine, and went to
sleep. The nurse told everybody that
Juliet was dead, and Juliet was carried
out of the house. Then the nurse sent a
secret message to Romeo. The message
said that Juliet wasn’t really dead, but

W HAT CAN I DO?

□ These are some ideas for things you can do
to help wildlife, in your area and around the
world. Thousands of species are in danger of
extinction and need our help now. Everybody
can do something to protect them.
0 There are many conservation groups which
work to protect species across the world.
They provide information and raise money for
projects. Some try to make governments change
laws. For example, the W W F (World Wide
Fund for Nature) was set up in 1961 to teach
people about conservation problems, and to
protect threatened species and habitats around
the world. They organise educational projects
all over the world and have members in
many countries.
s Ask at your nearest library for information
about groups in your area. These groups work
to protect the countryside and wildlife near you.
They spread information, raise money and
organise many activities that you can join in.
0 Zoos protect endangered species and teach
us more about them. Many have activities and Writing
clubs for children. At some zoos you can
