Demonstrate how will you balance your residential scholarship obligations whilst
living and studying in your community.
First and foremost, it is important to build a good mindset that it is a big challenge to
balance the SR obligations and life in the residence at the same time. The conflict
between these two roles might occur along with the time I am in this position, but I
shouldn’t panic about it and should instead have a positive attitude towards it.

I think this challenge is worth taking because, as a resident here, I know well what the
residents might want and what aspects need improvement to live a better life in the
lodge. it benefits me to be in the SR’s role, and help with the work I need to do which is
creating a better community. And the SR role, in return, equips me with a better sense of
community as one of the residents, which ultimately also contribute to building a better
community.
Bearing this positive transformation of roles in mind
Second, I should utilize effective time management, I think a weekly schedule is really
helpful, because it makes it clear the time for classes, assessments deadlines, and then
time for the pod’s events.

Periodically, I would review my schedule and assess how well I am managing both
academic and scholarship responsibilities. If necessary, I would make adjustments to
maintain a healthy balance.
Continual reflection and adaptation are key to maintaining this balance over time. As I
gain experience, I would refine my strategies to become more efficient and effective in
managing my scholarship obligations while excelling academically.

This is definitely a big challenge to be in the role and live in the same place, know when you
need to see yourself as a SR, being a friend VS> leader

But I believe through the process of learning, applying, improving the skills of being a SR, I will
finally conquer this challenge, best skill, in the world of work. This is what I want to gain from
being a SR.
