Reflect: (Answer)

What skills did you learn from your mother/father which you now practice as an adult?
What habits have you developed which started at home?

My parents taught me that human relationships are more important than material possessions.
They taught me to focus on the positive aspects of a relationship while ignoring the negatives.
That instruction has strengthened my relationships significantly.
They also instilled in me the values of honesty, integrity, and frugality. They taught me to put
importance on small experiences over material things.
Last but not least, they taught me to have a firm belief in what I believe while remaining respectful
and tolerant of the beliefs of others. With my faith, I am able to overcome all obstacles without
affecting my mental or physical health.
I am forever grateful to them for instilling in me a strong value system that has served as a guiding
light throughout my life.
Family routines define how families organize themselves to complete tasks, spend time together,
and have fun. Routines assist family members in determining who should do what, when, in what
order, and how frequently.

Routines also communicate to your children what is important to your family. Family rituals, for
example, are routines for special things your family does on a regular basis. These can help to
strengthen your family's shared beliefs and values, as well as create a sense of belonging and
togetherness. The following are some of the habits I've developed at home.

1. Be content with what you have and don't be disappointed because you don't have more.
This isn't to say you can't look for a better-paying job if you're qualified for one, or that you
have to embrace your "assigned" place in life.
2. 2. When you're in a group, look for those who are overlooked or marginalized and find a
graceful way to include them. Without exception, everyone wants to be noticed, included,
and appreciated.
3. Straighten your back and raise your head. Avoid slouching. You should not chew or talk
with your mouth open. Say "Po and Opo" "Yes, sir," "Yes, ma'am," "please," and "thank
you."
4. If you are mistaken, approach the other person, look him or her in the eyes, and apologize
with sincerity and dignity. What you say has to be taken seriously. Then resolve to do
better in the future and move on.
5. Don't be intimidated by those in positions of power. Respect is due, but don't let someone
with a position or a high-sounding title intimidate you into doing what you know is right.

How do the norm of the church affect your behavior in society?

What religious values does your family practice?

Religious belief and practice play an important role in the formation of personal moral criteria and
sound moral judgment. Regular religious practice protects people from a variety of social
problems, including suicide, drug abuse, unplanned births, crime, and divorce.

Being humble or helping others are considered religious values by Christians, Jews, Buddhists,
and Muslims because their respective religions value these actions or behavior. It is the value
that our family practice for a long time.

It is important to stay humble because having humility not only helps you develop a more kind
approach to interacting with others but it also influences how you perceive yourself and the world
around you.

Humility allows one to be more compassionate and empathic toward others. Those who practice
humility are more likely to take into account the beliefs and opinions of others.

This is most likely because humility allows you to become less self-centered and more sensitive
to the feelings of others.

This is because humility allows you to become less self-centered and more sensitive to the
feelings of others.

If you can be happy for others and their accomplishments without becoming consumed by
jealousy or self-pity, you will be able to develop more positive relationships.

Reflect:

What type of government do we have in the Philippines? What kind of leaders

should we elect to govern us?

The Philippines is governed as a unitary state under a presidential representative and democratic
constitutional republic in which the president functions as both the head of state and the head of
government of the country within a pluriform multi-party system.
The 1973 Constitution abolished the bicameral Congress and created a unicameral Batasang
Pambansa in a parliamentary system of government. The 1987 Constitution restored the
presidential system of government together with a bicameral Congress of the Philippines.
A political leader is a public servant who works to improve society. He or she is elected by the
members of the society through voting. As opposed to simply being a politician, a political leader
must have the integrity and willingness to stand up for what is right, even if it means resigning
from government or losing an election. The qualities of effective leadership include courage,
strength, the ability to communicate effectively, knowledge, judgment, integrity, and interpersonal
skills. A particularly important quality is vision, along with the power to implement that vision.
Citizens should vote for leaders based on their ability to make a difference and add value to
society. It is then his or her responsibility as a leader to make the difference that citizens seek.

Important characteristics of a good political leader include:

• He or she must be capable of making difficult and courageous decisions for the betterment
of the public.
• He or she should have the courage to stand up and say what needs to be said rather than
simply telling people what they want to hear.
• He/she should work for the well-being of the people rather than fighting for better political
positions.
• He or she must listen to the people and faithfully represent them.
• He or she should be devoted to the people he or she represents. And he or she must be
loyal to other leaders in order for them to work together and face problems together.
• Regardless of political party or opinion, one should collaborate with a diverse group of
people to achieve the greatest good for the general public.
• He or she must resist the various temptations of the political arena.
• He or she should be modest and down-to-earth. He or she should remember that he or
she is only a leader and not the owner of the people he or she represents.

A. Student-Generated Comparative Organizer
The teachers are not simply the implementers of the strategies in teaching. They
are the creators of the conditions of learning bedrock on their personal, professional, and
ethical qualities.

Identify the qualities of a professional teacher. Create a graphic organizer to show

the qualities of a teacher as an INDIVIDUAL and as PROFESSIONAL.

Communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy, and patience are

all qualities of an efficient teacher. Effective teaching also includes an engaging classroom
presence, a value in real-world learning, the exchange of best practices, and a lifelong
love of learning. A good teacher can make a significant difference in a student's life,
influencing everything from classroom learning to long-term success. A professional
teacher sees himself/herself as someone who can affect change or learning (sense of
efficacy) because he/she is an expert in both what he/she teaches (subject matter
knowledge) and how he/she teaches (pedagogical knowledge).
