Instructions for Examinees:

The instructions given to Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) aspirants may vary depending on the specific
platform or testing center administering the online exam. However, here are seven common
instructions that candidates might receive:
1. Ensure that your computer meets the technical requirements for the online exam, including a stable
internet connection, supported browser, and any VMware software and plugins required for the exam
platform.
2. Conduct a thorough environment check to ensure you are in a quiet and well-lit room with no
external aids or distractions. Clear your workspace of any prohibited materials.
3. Follow the prescribed procedures for identity verification, which may include showing a valid
government-issued ID or using a webcam to verify your identity. Submit the hard copy of your identity
requirements on or before 3rd of February 2024 for exam registration.
4. Understand and adhere to the policy regarding unauthorized aids. Typically, candidates are not
allowed to use notes, books, or any other materials during the exam.
5. Maintain strict silence during the exam. Communication with others, whether through chat,
messaging, or voice, is usually strictly prohibited. Do not log-out while running the machine. If there is a
network crash/difficulty contact your assigned authority.
6. Be aware of the time constraints for each task and turn in accordingly. Time management is crucial to
completing the exam within the allotted timeframe.
7. Obey any instructions given by the proctor or exam supervisor. This may include responding promptly
to requests, not attempting to access unauthorized resources, or addressing any technical issues
promptly.
