If DVOM tests are conducted at the Searchlight or Gimbal locations, the pin identifications will be
different from on the Junction Box. In such cases, the pin equivalents for these locations are shown in
table below.

10.3.2 Searchlight Troubleshooting
10.3.2.1 Focus Control Cannot Change Beam Diameter
10.3.2.1.1 Loose Screw
This is usually an electrical problem. Occasionally, a loose set screw on the focus cam can also
cause this issue. To check if the screw is loose:
• Remove the rear Searchlight cover (four Phillips screws).
• Disconnect the 4-pin Molex connector.

• Inspect the cam and set screw.
