HTT251 Groupwork Rubric 30%
Definition
Group project can be defined as “goal-directed activity with small treatment and task groups aimed at meeting socioemotional needs and
accomplishing tasks”.
Instructions
Students need to organize meeting, incentive, convention and event activity as a group works assessment.
It is important to provide clear and accurate information about the event. The nature of the event should indicate whether the venue is outdoors
or indoors, a hall or stadium or other venue. It is valuable to note whether there is a combination of sites, e.g. both indoors and outdoor, as this
can have a bearing on the capacity of the event as well as crowd movement within the event. Before an event there is generally time required to
set up and afterwards time required to return the venue to the original condition. Ensure the team knows how much time is required.
This rubric is designed to measure the overall group work. As a result, observation of students group works which is the final product of the group
work (event day) should be assessed with this rubric. It is group responsible for the overall organisation of the event, information about the event
details and it need to be updated and accurate before, during and after the event.
