Intro to Cars

Types of cars:

1. JDM (Japanese Domestic Market)

-> Drifting w. FWD, like Supra GTR’s. Easily
Modified (not as fast as supercars, but can be
modified to be faster than them).

2. Supercars
-> Loosely defined or described as a street-legal,
superlative performance sports car. Hard to
modify, some manufacturers don’t allow to.
(American term: American produced super cars,
like Dodge Hellcat).

3. Hypercars
-> Most high-end performance cars that have
very limited (two- to low 4-figure) production-
number cars, can be as fast as an F1 Car. Bugatti
and Koenigsegg only make hypercars.

4. Hydrogen Supercar
->
 Fuel by Hydrogen, recently released Hyperion
XP-1

5. Concept cars:
-> Notable one is
Dodge’s SRT-
Tomahawk (from
Grand Turismo). If it
 is made true, will be the fastest car in the world.
Uses breaks like a plane break so doesn’t have to
slow down.
