What is Jdm?
• JDM means “Japanese Domestic Market”.
“JDM” deniyor. Peki, bu farklılığın sebebi ne?
Why Are JDM Cars Made Differently?
•As we all know, there are horsepower and speed races between
automobile manufacturers almost all over the world. For this reason,
brands are trying to produce models with faster and more powerful
engines every day. However, this was not the case in Japan until the mid-
90s.
More precisely, the Japanese Automotive Manufacturers Association
does not want to enter this race and agrees to put upper limits on both
horsepower and speed for car models. In line with this agreement, cars
to be produced for the domestic market must not exceed 276
horsepower and a maximum speed of 180 km/h. There are three main
reasons behind this agreement:
•The budget allocated to the maximum speed race
can be preserved and transferred to foreign market
investments.
•Avoiding unnecessary speed racing.

•Keeping Japan's roads safe

Some Of JDM Cars
Nissan GTR-34
• The R34 GT-R, released in 1999, featured a revised chassis and
other updates. The biggest and most important feature of the
vehicle was the computer on the front panel, which was not found
in any other Skyline, measuring turbo pressure, oil temperature,
water temperature, G-force and many other things. The vehicle's
biggest competitors at that time were Toyota Supra and Honda
NSX. The R34 GT-R was produced until June 2002 and was
replaced in 2007 by the Nissan GT-R, which was stripped of the
SKYLINE designation and offered as a separate model.
Mazda RX-7 FD3S
• Mazda RX-7 is a sports car produced by Japanese vehicle
manufacturer Mazda between 1978 and 2002. The RX-7 replaced
the RX-3 in the market and was replaced by the RX-8 in 2003.
Wankel engine was used in its production.
Mazda MX-5 Miata
• Mazda MX-5 is the roadster model that Mazda has been producing
since December 1989. It is also known as Miata in some
countries. The second generation was put on sale in June 1998,
and the third generation was put on sale in March 2006. In 2009,
its 4th generation was released.
Nissan Silvia S-15
• In 1999, the seventh generation of the Silvia, codenamed S15, was
introduced. The Silvia S15's SR20DET engine produced 250 hp
(184 kW) thanks to improved engine management and ball bearing
turbocharging, while the non-turbo SR20DE produced 165 hp (121
kW). The S15 featured aggressive styling inside and out, updating
the previous Silvia style with modern car design trends of the time.
