Week Topics

7. Performance Review We examine why performance management is important and how today’s

managers can assess their employees effectively and deliver actionable
feedback that helps to improve performance.

8. Coaching, Development, This week explores the related areas of professional development, employee
Culture, and Motivation motivation, and organizational culture. We consider how to build a culture that
motivates top talent to stay and grow professionally within the organization.

9. Letting People Go Letting people go is a task that most managers dread, but with the right
knowledge it can be less daunting. We examine when to let individuals go, and
how to conduct the process with respect and candor. We consider the impact
of reorganizations and layoffs on all the parties involved.

10. Full Circle: Reset Your We end the course by recognizing the cyclical nature of workforce strategy. We

to encourage growth, support new initiatives, and lead productive change.
