About our Client

 Our client’s company is a fintech company specialising in digital payments; they provide domestic and
cross-border corporate payment solutions for B2B and B2C segments.
 They also operate XNAP, a cross-border C2B QR payment network. Headquartered in Singapore, their
company is a Non-Bank Financial Institution participant of Singapore’s PayNow and FAST network.
 They operate the LiquidPay e-money app for consumers, and provide acquiring services that enable
merchants to offer enhanced digital payment experiences to users.
 Our client’s company is regulated as a Major Payment Institution by the Monetary Authority of
Singapore.

Responsibilities

 Plan, develop, and execute regression, functional, load and other tests against core software
products, primarily the Firm’s compliance and regulatory reporting systems.
 Lead end-to-end testing initiatives throughout the entire SDLC from test planning, test design, test
execution, and test reporting. This includes performance testing, stress testing, front end, backend
testing, automation testing, includes functional, regression, black box, white box
 Drive standardization and adoption of Test Automation Technologies to maintain consistency across
the company that will allow us to scale as we grow
 Be a strong quality advocate, collaborating closely with software engineers, designers, and product
managers to release revolutionary products
 Pair with software engineers to identify and prevent gaps with automation/regression coverage and
even build frameworks
 Be part of transforming monolithic applications into more scalable and resilient distributed systems
with high quality, using cloud technology
 Build and improve automation testing frameworks and tools for API and web-based
 Design, develop, and use frameworks and harnesses for automated testing
 Take full ownership of and maintain a robust QA environment, including test databases and system
deployments
 Work closely with the global QA team to design and build integration tests
 Work with developers on improving system testability and creating testing environment

  Help set up and maintain the CI/CD environments and pipelines
 Document test plans, procedures, and test cases
 Create test data concepts and maintain consistent test data through the various environments, e.g.
development, QA and UAT environments

Job requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, system development, and automated testing within
Financial Services Technology
 Fundamental knowledge of financial instruments and nomenclature, experience with compliance,
regulatory and reporting systems
 Experience with Selenium, Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab and AWS
 Experience collaborating with programmers and business authorities to automate critical workflows
for testing.
 Proven track record of test automation, building test harnesses, and integrating automated testing
tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, Specflow a plus)
 Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
 Experience with data reconciliation
 Experience with Shift Left Test Automation
 Experience with Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery
 Have the ability to solve complex problems with practical, maintainable, and scalable solutions
 Strong technical skills, practical knowledge of SQL
 Strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and tracing root cause.
 Experience in automated testing of distributed systems/solutions. Experience designing,
implementing or enhancing test harness/framework
 Experience in automated testing of Distributed Data Systems Experience in testing RESTful API and
test tools/frameworks
 Automate API (Web Services, RESTful)
 Integrate Development & Project Management Process with Testing
