About our Client

 Our client is a Fintech company based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

 Our client is in search of a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to take charge of testing processes
prior to product launches, ensuring seamless software functionality that aligns with client
requirements.
 The QA Engineer's duties encompass the design and implementation of comprehensive tests,
debugging, and the formulation of corrective measures. Additionally, responsibilities extend to
reviewing system requirements and monitoring key quality assurance metrics, such as defect
densities and open defect counts. The pivotal role of the QA Engineer significantly contributes to our
client company's product development process.
 Evaluate requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to offer prompt and valuable
feedback.
 Develop detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases.
 Estimate, prioritize, plan, and organize testing activities effectively.
 Identify, document, and meticulously track bugs throughout the testing process.
 Conduct comprehensive regression testing upon bug resolution.
 Monitor and assess the outcomes of the debugging process.
 Keep abreast of the latest testing tools and evolving test strategies.
 Collaborate with the development and project management teams to facilitate smooth System
Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
 Track essential quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts.
 Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of
rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.
 Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time.
 Perform other duties as assigned.

Job requirements

 Hold a tertiary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

 Possess a minimum of 2-4 years of practical experience in Software Testing, particularly in Web
Application and Mobile App environments.
 Demonstrate expertise in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
 Have experience working within an Agile/Scrum development process.
 Bonus points for experience in testing within the Fintech, Trading, or Crypto space.
 Additional advantageous skills include hands-on experience with both white box and black box
testing, as well as automation testing.
 Exhibit self-starter qualities and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-
paced environment.
 Preferred working experience within the trading, financial, or crypto industry.
 Knowledge in blockchain technologies, capital markets technology, and financial payments
technology is considered highly advantageous
