strategies, test architecture and test automation and deliver the manpower to implement.

About our client

We offer a Senior Software Test position at our client ITEC in Nijmegen. ITEC (part of Nexperia)
manufactures advanced assembly- and test systems for optimizing production processes in chip
production. Due to the increasing global chip shortage, there is a huge demand for ITEC products.

The uniqueness of this job opportunity lies in the combination of working in a technical challenging

at making you a lead and/or become an expert in the field of Software Testing. We aim to advance

Stepping in this position in this current phase means that together with the Manager Software
Testing you will define the test strategy, create the test architecture, and implement test
automation. Exposure and involvement in this phase allows you to build relevant test domain
knowledge. This will boost your expertise level and contribute to your growth as Test professional.

The challenge
As a Software Test Engineer you work at the core of product and application development projects
and play a crucial role in the business of our clients. By working in agile, international,
multidisciplinary teams, you will develop both your technical knowledge and soft skills. As active
part of the scrum team you take the lead in integrating testing in the software development process
and provide continuous feedback on ongoing development work.

Your activities will mainly focus on the design of possible test strategies and execution of
(automated) tests on unit, system and integration level.

 A good overview of possible software design methodologies, operating systems and programming
languages and the ability to motivate this to others is crucial. Main tasks, supported by Test
architect:
• Setting up requirements-test traceability on product level
• Setting up risk-test traceability by leading risk assessment workshops
• Designing software tests on product level
o Test automation using Behave (Python)
• Reviewing tests on unit and software integration level
• Involved in setting up CI/CD pipeline design
o Incorporate automated tests in CI/CD pipeline
• Report about quality
o By using requirements-test traceability
o By using risk-test traceability

Your profile
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in (Technical) Computer Science or comparable.
• Approximately 3-7 years’ experience in software testing in an industrial or technical
environment.
• Software engineering experience is preferred; Is able to review code (Unit test and/or SW
integration tests).
• You have ISTQB/T-Map or this level based on experience
• Preferably you have experience with BDD / Gherkin
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
• Have an innovative mindset and strong analytical skills.
• You are a self-starter, solution driven with a hands-on approach to your work and you get
results.
• Are also a team player with the ability to work independently when required and in cross
functional international teams.
