Quality Assurance Trainee

Role Description:

We are looking for a QA Tester, responsible for the quality of software development and deployment. They will
be involved in performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created, is fit for purpose.

Role and responsibilities

• Analyzing users’ stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression
• Review and analyze system specifications.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Evaluate product code according to specifications.
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Help troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Technical skills requirements

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks
• Defect tracking tool (like: QC, JIRA, Bugzilla)
• Automation tool (like: Selenium, JMeter, Cucumber)
Nice-to-have skills
• Knowledge of backend languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, .NET, and Python)
• Knowledge of database concepts
• Familiarity with Common stacks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications
• 0 to 1 years of work experience in systems or application development
• B.Tech/B.E/MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred.
