Chief Technology Officer

Responsibilities
• Design and execute the long-term strategy for technological development and growth, align
the company’s technology resources with the organization’s short- and long-term goals,
Create and oversee high-level KPIs for IT department.
• Year One: Leading the implementation of the platform and developing proprietary tools to scale
the network of partners. The work may require hands on development with the engineers. You
will be responsible for the common foundational technology strategy for the company (i.e.
SaaS, cloud strategy: AWS, Azure, Google).
• Year Two & Beyond: Define and lead the implementation of the company long-term strategic
technology roadmap. The goal is to scale the architecture, platform, data, analytics, QA, and
engineering to grow with the offline business and support additional revenue channels.
• Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Guide and decide on all processes for the engineering organization, including the software
development life cycle, type of technologies used, and overall prioritization of work and
projects.
• Manage the current team and external engineering vendors
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes. Ensure mitigation of relevant security,
privacy, and business continuity risks.
• Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
• Identify what technologies can be used to improve the company’s products and services
• Manage the department’s budget
• Assist in recruiting and growing our team significantly by hiring highly talented engineering,
quality assurance, product, and operations professionals.
• Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors

Your skill and experience


• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate
degree is a plus
• At least 8 years of experience in technology roles, with 5 as a manager/leader
• That build native apps for two or more platforms as well as cloud-based systems, e-wallet,
payments, CRM, IoT, field management system, marketing platform, marketplace platform.
• Leading a team of at least 20 engineers
• With high levels of automated test coverage
• At least a reasonable level of security and willing to support 24/7
• Extremely sharp logic and communication skills.
• Vision: You see how you’d like customers, teams, technology, and competitors to relate years
into the future
• Learning: You quickly acquire and understand new skills and knowledge and apply them to
your work.
• Leadership: You define goals and strategies, design organizations, hire, motivate, assess and
manage.
• Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role
