Informative speech about Climate Change

Hello everyone, good afternoon! I'm CS and I will be sharing my thoughts about climate change
using an informative speech. Take note that I researched on Google to create this and I don't claim this
as mine.

Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. These shifts
may be natural, but since the 1800s, human activities have been the main cause of climate change,
primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels (like coal, oil, and gas), which produce heat-trapping gases.

Burning fossil fuels generates greenhouse gas emissions that act like a blanket wrapped around
the Earth, trapping the sun's heat and raising temperatures. (The main greenhouse gases that are
causing climate change include carbon dioxide and methane.)

Someone asked:

Is Climate Change real?

- Of course, it is. Many people quietly glaze over it, refusing to believe it's actually happening. Scientists
explain that there is a rise in greenhouse gas emissions due to human activities. However, some people
say that climate change is natural, and we shouldn’t worry about it.

But is it only natural or anything more?

- It’s more than just natural as in the last two hundred years the emission from fossil fuels is only caused
by human activities. Since the start of the industrial revolution, the percentage of carbon dioxide has
increased by 30% in our atmosphere.

Due to global warming many species, birds, habitats, trees, and aquatic life are badly hurt. Also,
the hot conditions increased the demand for water.

Moreover, these past few decades it has increased in incidents relating to drought.

Besides, this type of thing, will occur more often and will be worse. According to scientists estimate by
2040 there won’t be anything except the summer season.

To conclude, it is a scandal that there is nothing like climate change. Also, a lot has been done to
tackle it. But we are still not doing all that we can. Climatic changes affect life on the earth in various
ways.

Tackling climate change should be our primary top agenda.

Also, we are partly neglecting it because the effect of changing climate tends to be invisible and
incremental until they are suddenly disastrous.

That is all, thank you for listening.
