Narrator: Approximately 2000 years back in time, there was a man named after Saul, Saul was a

Pharisee. A Pharisee is a person who knew a lot about the Jewish teachings and laws, many of them were

powerful, and they used their power to make sure that everyone followed the rules, they thought were

right. One day, Saul and the other Pharisees thought that it was completely wrong to believe that Jesus is

the true savior who had risen from the dead.

--

Scene 1
Inside of a Room having a discussion

Gamaliel : Now that Jesus is no longer around anymore, nobody is going to believe in him anyway.

Pharisee 1: But don’t you see that more and more people are joining the Christians? It must be because

of that man preaching in the streets. What was his name again?

Gamiliel : *Grunts* Stephen

--

Gamaliel : That Man Stephen.. He is one of the most persistent Christians here in Jerusalem, we must

get him!

Pharisees 1: If we kill him, we’ll stop the others too.

The 3 Pharisees stands up and agrees to their plan

--

Scene 2

4 Pharisees walk up to the streets to find Stephen, after finding Stephen, Pharisee 2 picks up a rock,

Stephen shows pure fear, then Pharisee 2 throws the rock at him and starts beating him up.

Narrator: The Pharisees got the people along with them to attack Stephen, Saul was with the crowd too

and saw everything that happened, then they broke into all the Christian homes and threw them into jail.

Saul did everything he could to wipe out all faith in Jesus.

Saul walks up to the 3 Pharisees*

Saul: Honored high Priest, many Christians have escaped from Jerusalem, may I have your permission to

let me go to Damascus to bring them back here and to arrest them?

The 3 Pharisees agrees*

--

Scene 3
Saul and his crew riding a horse through the dessert to get to Damascus

Saul: These Christians mocking God in that way, God has not sent any Son to earth, if he had then the

Holy men in Jerusalem would have known about it at this time. What a disgrace.

Saul was blinded from the heavens, falling from his horse, and became legally blind, as he lay on the

ground*

The Voice from the Heavens: Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?

Saul: Who are you, Lord?

The Voice from the Heavens: I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting, but get up now, and stand on

your feet, I have shown myself to you for this purpose to make you a servant and witness both of the

things that you have seen and of the thing you will see when I save you from your own people and from

the Gentiles, I am sending you to them to open their eyes, so they turn from darkness to light from

Satan’s power to God.

*The light disappeared in an instance as Saul tries to stand up*

Saul: I can’t see.. Jesus, where are you?

Comrade 1: Let’s keep going to Damascus. *in a concerned voice*

Saul: Jesus? God’s own Son? Using me?

They continued to walk to Damascus as Crew 1 is leading Saul the way*

--

Scene 4

Saul is sitting in a room alone, looking very depressed*

Narrator: Saul was blind for 3 days. He neither ate or drank.

Comrades: *Offers Saul food and water, but Saul refused him*

--

Scene 5

Ananias inside a room writing a scripture*

The Voice from the Heavens: Ananias

Ananias: Here I am, Jesus.

The Voice from the Heavens: Find Paul and lay your hands on him, so that he may get his sight back

again.

Ananias: But Jesus, I have heard of all the evil he has done and now he wants to throw everyone in jail.

The Voice from the Heavens: Go, for I have chosen him to tell all the people about me including, Kings,

and the people of Israel.

Ananias Agrees*

--
Back to Scene 4

Saul is still there in the room as Ananias walks into the room he is in.

Ananias: My brother, Jesus has sent me to help you get your sight back, and be filled with the Holy

Spirit.

Ananias gets closer to Saul as he laid both of his hands to where Saul’s Head*

After 3-5 seconds of waiting, scales fall off of Sauls eyes and Saul gets his eyesight back and has a chat

with Ananias*

Narrator: Ananias realized that Saul had completely changed, before, Saul had been proud of his power

and fought against the Christians, but now he has a completely different goal in life, he had met Jesus.

Saul: You know what, I thought I had everything I could wish for; knowledge, wealth, and power, but now

I see that it is not worth anything! It was all just a waste because now, I have seen Jesus and what he

can give is worth so much more.

They both continued chatting*

--

Scene 6

2 Guards are guarding the Gate of Damascus*

Guard 1: That man, Saul, have you heard about him? He must’ve been insane! Isn’t he the one who

wanted to wipe out all Christians?! And now he has become one of Jesus’ followers himself! When we find

him, we’re going to kill him.

Guard 2: But where could Saul have been hiding? At least he won’t be able to sneak out of here

*chuckles*

--

Paul, Ananias, and the others are hiding on top of the walls of the Gate as Paul is inside of a big Casket to

hide from the Guards.

Ananias: They’re still looking for you, Paul… But we’re going to get you safely out of town, just lie

completely still.

Paul nods*

Ananias and the others delivered the Casket outside from the town quietly*

Ananias carefully looked around and then ran

--

Scene 7: Back to Jerusalem

Narrator: When Paul returned to Jerusalem, he discovered that the Christians there were wary of him

and would not disclose where they were meeting. Even after Paul was baptized, the apostles were still

afraid of him. They refused to accept him. But a man named Barnabas believed Paul.

Paul: Say, stranger, do you know where the Jesus followers meet?

Barnabas: Why do you ask? You’re Paul, famous for arresting those people.

Paul: Yes, I used to be an enemy of Jesus, but he spoke to me and now I’m one of his followers.

Barnabas: I’m going to believe in you. Come with me, I’ll show you where they meet. I’m Barnabas.

Paul: Nice to meet you, thanks for trusting me. I’m beginning to think that I’ve had wiped out the church

here in Jerusalem.

Narrator: Paul joined the church in Jerusalem, and was greatly encouraged by them. He eventually

became a traveling missionary and brought the word of Jesus to people all around the world. His journey

began as a missionary. He traveled to so many cities and established new churches, spreading the word

of Jesus and the gospel to the Gentiles. He faced many challenges and was often imprisoned for his

beliefs, but through it all, he continued to fulfill the mission that Jesus had given him. Later in his life, he

wrote this:

[MUSIC STARTS TO BUILD PREPARING FOR THE ENDING]

Paul: I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy,

appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I

was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.

Narrator: And so, the once-persecutor Saul became known as Paul, the great Apostle of the Lord. And

that’s the life of St. Paul.
