Pastele este una dintre cele mai importante sarbatori crestine.

Aceasta sarbatoare
tine trei zile si are loc in primavara. Pregatirea pentru Paste inseamna in
principal aranjarea casei de sarbatoare si prepararea bucatelor traditionale.
Inrosirea si ciocnirea oualor rosii este cel mai raspandit obicei crestin de Paste.
Acestea sunt nelipsite de la masa incarcata din zilele de Paste si reprezinta o
incantare pentru toata lumea, insa mai ales pentru cei mici.
Ele se picteaza si/sau decoreaza in mod traditional, in Joia Mare . Acestea se
ciocnesc in zilele de Paste, alaturi de urarea „Hristos a inviat!”, la care se
raspunde cu „Adevarat a inviat!”.
In noaptea de Inviere, credinciosii merg la biserica, de unde iau Lumina Sfanta
In prima zi de Paste exista obiceiul de a se purta haine noi.
Multe familii servesc, la masa de Paste, carne de miel pregatit in diverse
moduri, dar mai ales sub forma de friptura sau drob. Pasca este un preparat
dulce, pregatit din aluat, branza si stafide.

Many families serve, at the Easter table, lamb meat prepared in various ways,
but especially in the form of steak or drob. Pasca is a sweet dish made from
dough, cheese and raisins.
