CONCLUSION

In conclusion, Maybank benefits the society and nation in abundance with its contributions,
strengths and opportunities it gets despite having faced a few threats involving its
competitors, banking safety issues, and so on. To add on, the CSR activities conducted by
Maybank have been listed as well. Some of Maybank’s contributions are donating over RM5
million to the Liver Transplant Centre in Hospital Selayang. Other than that, Maybank has
also provided opportunities to talented individual to ensure that they receive proper education
to reach their full potential.

Sustainability has been fundamental to Maybank ever since the foundation, whether in
business performance, products and services or Maybank engagement with our stakeholders.
Similarly, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is integral to the way we do business. From
the outset, Maybank have regarded good corporate citizenship as essential to growth
