    Read and understand the following instruction carefully.


    A. First, translate the following sentences from English to Indonesia.
    Then, decide types of meaning of the underlined words.

    1. Two employees were in contact with customers.


    2. Do you have money?
    3. They will mend the broken machine.
    4. My father doesn’t allow us to watch TV after 11:00pm.
    5. Neither Jack nor Peter wants to go to the party next week.
    6. May I meet the teacher?
    7. Omar doesn’t drive fast.
    B. Give 5 examples of translation English – Indonesia which are
    different in context and meaning if it is translated word-by-word

    Example:
    daily bread (English) >< rejeki harian (Indonesian) bukan roti harian.
