Instructions for dealing with used water

A： Raw material bottle, with crude used water. Please see figure 1

C： Purification cartridge, Please see figure 3.

C1： Inlet port of purification cartridge(including the protector), it is used to be
connected with the raw material bottle.
C2：Outlet port of purification cartridge(including the protector), it is used to be
connected with the receiving bottle.

D： Receiving bottle, which is vacuum.50ml. Please see figure 4.

II Operating Procedure

1. Take off the protector of C1 part, Please put the C1 of purification cartridge insert
the raw material bottle. please see figure 5.
2. Take off the protector of the vent needle (part B), and put the vent needle insert to
the raw material bottle, please see figure 5.
3. Make sure that the needle of the inlet port (C1) can reach the bottom of raw
material bottle, please see figure 6.

4. Insert the needle of C2 into the receiving bottle D, please see figure 7.
The crude used water will be flowed to the receiving bottle through the
Purification cartridge.

Note: The inserting spot of C2 should be near the edge of aluminum stopper seal
to make sure that the purification cartridge can be vertical above the bottle nearly,
 please see figure 8.

5. The receiving bottle can be changed when it is filled with 50mL used water, pull
the C2 part out from the filled receiving bottle and insert to the new empty
receiving bottle, please see figure 9.

Caution: Avoid the puncture of hand; please keep the pinpoint of needles away
from your hand during the changing process!

6. According to the estimation, each purification cartridge can purify 100 mL

solution.

Note：

The activity level in the filtered water should be checked and re-filtered (with a new

kit) until the activity level in the water reads < 0.5 μSv/h (safe for air transport).
