INTRODUCTION

Workplace diversity is a term used for creating an inclusive work environment.

Companies with workplace diversity employ individuals with a variety of different
characteristics such as age, gender,sexual orientation,race, ethnicity, religion,political views
cultural background,etc. In an inclusive workplace culture, all these individuals differences
among employees are accepted and all employees are treated on an equal basis. Most
people think of a diversified workplace as a working environment that includes employees of
different genders, ethnicities, and racial backgrounds. The meaning of diversity has become
more complex. A diversified workforce includes people with variety across a number of
different categories, such as religion, culture, sexual orientation, language, educational
backgrounds, skills and abilities.

Embracing the changes related to diversity in the workplace will take your business to
great heights. When you put a variety of individuals together in the same room, you'll get
different perspective and opinions that can benefit your business. This will allow your
business to grow in a number of ways. There are five advantages that a diversified workforce
can bring to your company. Greater creativity and innovation, increased productivity,

races, religion create a diverse workforce to provide better performance. There are
perspectives of managing the diverse workforce. Diversity means differences, difference of
age sex, race religion and culture etc. People with different demographic differences
working in the organization makes a diverse workforce. And it is becoming more important
for the organizations to know about these differences and how to manage it. Diversity is also
a common issue in the workforce environment. In some companies employees often get
discriminated or misunderstood because of the diverse features. So it is important for the
companies to manage the diverse workforce to value best performance. The most important
aspect these days is to train the managers role in handling the diverse workforce. Whether
you are a business owner, executive, salesperson or customer service professional, your
success will increasingly depend on your ability to function in a culturally diverse
marketplace. Diversity is increasing everyday in every organization.

be used to educate everyone about diversity and it's issues, including laws and regulations.
Most workplace are made up of diverse cultures, so organizations need to look learn how to
adapt to be successful.
