Shastram and Sampradayam - Two Eyes

We don’t understand the purpose of our life, because we don’t get proper guidance. We don’t know what is
right and what is wrong, what is necessary and what is not. Vedam is the only authority in the universe which
can advise us on this. Because:
1. Vedas are the oldest source of knowledge in the world.
2. The origin of vedas cannot be traced (even by scientists). Vedam is eternal.
3. Vedam itself mentions that Brahma created the entire universe and Vedam exists even before Brahma
was created by Sriman Narayana. - Shwetashwatara Upanishad
4. Vedas were written by nobody.
5. Veda were heard by Maharshis with the power of their penance. - Yajur Vedam
6. Everything in Vedam is true. - Lord Krishna himself
7. Vedas are unlimited. - Yajur Vedam
8. About the things which we cannot know with the ability of our minds, Vedam is the only source which
explains us about those. - Shaayanaacharya
9. Above all, Vedas are the words of the supreme lord Sriman Narayana. He resides inside Vedam as
antaryaami and speaks. - Srimad Bhagavatam
10. Without following Vedam, we can never be happy and attain our ultimate purpose. - Mahabharatam

But one person cannot learn Vedam on his own. For a beginner, Vedam is very confusing, rishis have different
opinions, syllabus is vast and one lifetime is not enough to understand completely. So we need eligibility,
qualification, wisdom, guidance, knowledge of many shastras etc. to understand Vedic scriptures.

So to solve this problem, we need a qualified authentic acharya, who hails from a genuine Vedic lineage. A
genuine vedic lineage is the one which originates from the supreme lord Sriman Narayana himself, and the
teachings are completely according to Vedam and never change.
Scriptures themselves reveal at many places about Sri Ramanuja Sampradaya, that it is a genuine lineage of
acharyas starting from the supreme lord Sriman Narayana. Let us know about our lineage from top to bottom:

శాస్త మ

మనకి మన జీవిత లక్ష్యం సరిగ్గా అర్థ ం కావడంలేదు, దానికి కారణం మనకు సరైన మార్గ దర్శకత్వం లభించకపో వడం. ఏది తగినది మరియు ఏది తగనిది,
ఏది అవసరం మరియు ఏది కాదు అనే విషయం మనకు తెలియదు. యావత్ జగత్తు కి ఈ విషయాల గురించి వివరంగా తెలుపగలిగే ఏకైక నిర్ణ యాధికారం
వేదం మాత్రమ.ే ఎందుకంటే:
1. వేదాలు ప్రపంచంలోనే అతి ప్రా చీన జ్ఞా న మూలాలు.
2. వేదాల ఉత్పత్తి ని గుర్తించడం సాధ్యం కానీ విషయం (శాస్త వ
్ర ేత్తల వల్ల కూడా). వేదం శాశ్వతమైనది.
3. బ్రహ్మదేవుడు సమస్త విశ్వాన్ని సృష్టించాడని మరియు శ్రీమన్నారాయణునిచే బ్రహ్మదేవుడు సృష్టించబడడానికి పూర్వమే వేదము ఉనికిలో
ఉందని మనకు వేదమే స్పష్ట పరుస్తు ంది (శ్వేతాశ్వతర ఉపనిషత్తు లో)
4. వేదాలు ఎవరిచేత నిర్మింపబడలేదు (వ్రా యబడలేదు).
5. మహర్షు లు తమ తపశ్శక్తితో వేద శబ్దా లను గ్రహించారు (విన్నారు). - యజుర్వేదం
6. వేదంలో ఉన్నదంతా యదార్థ మే - శ్రీకృష్ణు డు
7. వేదములు అంతులేనివి - యజుర్వేదం
8. మన మనస్సు, ఇంద్రియాల యొక్క సామర్థ ్యం చేత మనం తెలుసుకోలేని విషయాల గురించి మనకు వివరించే ఏకైక ఆధారం వేదం మాత్రమే. -

9. అన్నింటిని మించి, వేదాలు సర్వోన్నతుడైన శ్రీమన్నారాయణుని వాక్కులు. అతడు వేదంలో అంతర్యామిగా ఉంటూ మనకు ఉపదేశం

10. వేదశాస్త్రా న్ని అనుసరించకుండా, మనం ఎన్నటికీ సంతోషంగా ఉండలేము మరియు మన పరమ ప్రయోజనాన్ని (ప్రధాన లక్ష్యాన్ని)
సాధించలేము. - మహాభారతం

ఐతే ఒక వ్యక్తి తనంతట తానుగా వేదం నేర్చుకోలేడు. నేర్చుకోవాలని ఉపక్రమించేవాడికి వేదం చాలా గందరగోళంగా ఉంటుంది. మన ఋషులు కూడా
భిన్నమైన అభిప్రా యాలను కలిగి ఉంటారు. అధ్యయనము చేయవలిసిన పాఠ్యక్రమము చాల విస్త ృతంగా ఉంటుంది. పైగా పూర్తిగా అర్థ ం చేసుకోవడానికి ఒక
జీవితకాలం సరిపో దు. అందువల్ల మనకు వేద శాస్త్రా లను అర్థ ం చేసుకోవడానికి అర్హత, యోగ్యత , జ్ఞా నం, వివేకము, మార్గ నిర్దేశము, ఇతర శాస్త్రా ల
పరిజ్ఞా నం అత్యంత ఆవశ్యకము.

కాబట్టి ఈ సమస్యను పరిష్కరించడానికి, మనకు యథార్థ మైన వైదిక పరంపర నుండి వచ్చిన ఒక యోగ్యత కలిగిన ప్రా మాణికమైన ఆచార్యుడు అవసరము.
నిజమైన వైదిక పరంపర అనేది సర్వశ్రేష్ఠు డైన శ్రీమన్నారాయణుడి నుండి ఉద్భవించి, వారి ఉపదేశాలు పూర్తిగా వేదశాస్త్రా న్ని అనుసరించి మాత్రమే
ఉంటాయి, అవి ఎప్పటికీ మారవు.

శ్రీ భగవత్ రామానుజాచార్యుల సంప్రదాయం గురించి అనేక సందర్భాలలో శాస్త ్ర గ్రంథాలు స్వయంగా వెల్లడించాయి. ఇది సర్వోన్నతుడైన
