2. Overview
Teramind is a securities solution in which the desktop sessions and actions of third parties are recorded
for auditing purposes. Due to the lack of Active Directory integration certain processes must be carried
out manually. This document covers the steps involved in creating user accounts for both administrators
and end users.

• Third Line Service Desk Analysts
• IT Managers

4. Administrator User Account Creation

Log in to Session Monitor Appliance

Open a browser and Navigate to http://sessionmonitor.tp.tpnet.intra/

NOTE: Ensure to log into the appliance with an administrator account otherwise you will lack the
necessary privileges to create user accounts.

Account Creation

Once logged in select “Employees” from the menu on the left-hand side and then “New Employee” from
the top of the page as shown below.

The below dialogue box will appear. Complete the fields highlighted in yellow and change the
Department to “Infrastructure Team”. Be sure to use the new TechnipFMC standard for the email
address.

Select the “Account Info” and change the access level to administrator.

Select the “Monitoring Options” tab and change the Monitoring Profile to Infrastructure Team.

Once Complete select “Add User & Send Invitation”. This will send an email to the users email address
with links to the web portal. They will be assigned a temporary password and instructed to change it on
first login.

5. End User Account Creation


Log into the appliance’s web portal using the information above.

Once logged in select “Employees” from the menu on the left hand side and then “New Employee” from
the top of the page as shown below.

The below dialogue box will appear. Complete the fields highlighted in yellow and leave the department
as No Department. Be sure to use the new TechnipFMC standard for the email address if this is for a
Technip user to monitor the activity of others.

Select the “Account Info” and ensure the access level says Employee.

Select the “Monitoring Options” tab and ensure the Monitoring Profile states “Default Settings”, this will
ensure that all relevant tracking is enabled for that user.

Once Complete select “Add User”. The new user account will now appear in the list of Employees.
Select the user and then select “Edit Info” as shown below.

In the dialogue box that appears select “Account Info” tab then define a temporary password for the
user. Select “Apply Changes”. Add this temporary password to the request in Service Now. The user
can now log into the web portal using the password defined.
