Part 1:

1. Do you work or are you a student?

As of right now, I am a third-year English education major at QN University. In addition, I tutor to

supplement my income so that I can pay for my living.

2. Why did you choose that course or job?

In my opinion, there will be a great demand in the field of English teaching. Aside from that, I enjoy
teaching kids and that is why I became a teacher.

3. What is the most difficult thing about your studies or job?

I'm a very shy person so there's a lot of inadequacy about that. I often do not dare to ask the teacher
what I do not understand. that brought extremely heavy consequences for me that I am now shaken by
knowledge. I feel depressed about studying and mentally depressed a lot.

Part 2:

Let me now tell you about my ideal work.

My friends have frequently asked me about my ideal career path since I was a young child, and I have
always assumed that I want to work in business. Salesperson or start a business selling a high-end
clothing line. I enjoy running a business because it allows me to interact with a wide variety of people,
all of whom have something to teach me about providing excellent customer service. Additionally, as a
fashion fan, sharing stories about fashion products while I'm selling them gives me a boost of confidence
since I get to convey their luxury value to my customers.

To be qualified for this job, we need to have excellent communication skills to persuade clients to
believe in the fashion value which lies in the products. Besides, the art of observation is something that
needs to be mastered too. Also, we do need to have passion for selling stuff because we cannot do a
good job without passion. That’s for sure.

Part 3:

A. Education
1. Do you think science subjects are more useful than arts subjects?

In a technical capacity, yes. Science subjects solve practical problems and improve lives in many ways.
They advance medicine and enhance our quality of life by providing technological innovation. However,
arts subjects are also useful in other ways, and provide a significant benefit to the world.

2. Are students mature enough to choose what to study themselves or should their parents decide
for them?

Once a person reaches the age of sixteen or even eighteen, they are certainly mature enough to choose
what they should study. A parent can certainly give guidance in this matter, but it is absurd to think that
they could dictate what a young man or woman must do. This is old-fashioned thinking and really quite
regressive. Young adults must make the decisions that shape their own lives.

3. In your country, does having a university education help you into a better career?

To be specific, a degree will tell the employers that you have academic knowledge in a specific area.
Among two candidates, employers will absolutely prefer the university graduate to the one with a high
school diploma. University degrees are important to find a job, even a high-paying job.

B. Motivation
1. Do you think older or younger workers are more motivation?

In comparison to the older generation, the younger generation has acquired certain knowledge and
abilities due to technological advancements.Since everything at work is new to them, young employees
ought to be more driven since they want to brag about their accomplishments.

2. How can managers increase motivation among their workforce?

One of the possible solutions is to praise and say encouraging words to workers who perform well on
their jobs. If this is done, those who have already given satisfied results for their jobs will feel more
confident and put all their effort in their next work task. In addition, many other employees in the
company will feel more challenging and work harder in order to perform well as their colleagues.

3. Are people more motivated if their job involves helping others?

For most people, they will be motivated if their job involves helping others. Unless their job is badly paid
or that is a tiring job. A good way to have the time of your life is by lifting others up. Because the more
you help others, the more happiness you get.
