MANATO ES GRABS BASKETBALL VICTORY
September 30 - In the recently concluded Zonal
Meet 2023 hosted by Kinatakutan National High
School (KnNHS), the basketball event took center
stage, delivering a display of skill and competition.
The tournament featured a series of matchups
that had the audience on the edge of their seats.
The excitement began with the clash between San
Roque ES and Mahinta ES, where San Roque ES
emerged victorious with an impressive score of
40-7.
Following this, Manato ES faced off against F.Y
Salumbides ES, securing a dominant win with a
final score of 29-9.

In another closely contested game, Kinatakutan
ES battled Katimo ES, ultimately prevailing with a
score of 24-20.
Laurel ES and Aliji ES also squared off, and
Laurel ES secured a convincing win at 24-8.
In the semifinal round, Manato ES emerged
victorious against San Roque ES, while
Kinatakutan ES secured their place in the
championship by defeating Laurel ES with a score
of 35-11.
The pinnacle of the event was the championship
round between Kinatakutan ES and Manato ES.
The game was a thrilling spectacle, with both
teams giving their all. In the end, Manato ES
successfully defended their title with a narrow
16-13 victory.
