C Hitters win over Muntinlupa

Withstanding under the pressure of the scorching sun, athletes from South Cotabato and
Muntinlupa stood unstoppably in pocketing the gold medal.
Fresh from the ground of ASPAC International, Dhynhurteo Balanon, Kenn Benedict D.
Vergonia and Francis Charles C. Manzano, from South Cotabato Hitters outsmarted Muntinlupa
a tough blow on the third inning, 4-2, during the Batang Pinoy 2016, Baseball mens division in
the category of 13 years old and below at the Energy Park, Tagum City last December 1.
Vergonia, the 13-year old leader of S.C Hitter, who was also a part of the ASPAC
International team, homed during the last minute that made their team to bag the gold.
Nag prepare naman po talaga kami.- Vergonia stressed.
Together with Vergonia, other two pitchers from S.C Hitters made an advantage over the
Muntinlupa Batters garnering a four-on-two points on the last game.
However, the M.B pitcher balked and gave way to the S.C to make an extra home base.
Advantage naman talaga sila kasi malalaki yong pitchers nila, tapos International player
pa.- expressed by Muntinlupas coach, Edward Tuazon.
S.C. pitchers beanball had their significant contribution in bringing home the bacon
knowing that these athletes were having the edge in the said sports as internationally competent
for being part of the baseball team in ASPAC International of the Philippines.
Keep the good word and trust to God, Vergonia stated.
Further, the competition was concluded by giving recognition to the other teams who took
the other prestigious awards; teams from Samar got the bronze medal and Muntinlupa grabbed
