A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN (SK) OF THE BARANGAY

MERANGERAN TO ASSIST THE QUEZON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL SUPREME STUDENT
GOVERNMENT OFFICER IN REACHING OUT THE LEARNERS OF BARANGAY SAN JOSE IN THE
MUNICPALITY OF QUEZON AND HELP THEM IN ANSWERING THEIR MODULES.
WHEREAS, the Department of Education states that education is important and must
continue despite the pandemic.
WHEREAS, the students find it difficult in answering the modules due to the absence of face
to face classes.
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Supreme Student Government Organization to reach out
the learners who are struggling in answering the module to be motivated and continue their
studies.
WHEREAS, it is easy for the Supreme Student Government Organization to assess the learners with
the help of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) in the barangay of Merangeran, Quezon, Bukidnon.
THEREFORE, upon the motion of Vanesa Pear Indac, SSG Treasurer, duly seconded by
Raiza Indac, SSG P.I.O.
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved requesting the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of the Barangay
Merangeran to assist the Quezon National High School Supreme Student Government Organization
in reaching out the learners of Barangay San Jose, Quezon, Bukidnon and help them in answering
their modules.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that this resolution will be forwarded Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman of
Barangay Merangeran , for information, consideration and approval.

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE QUEZON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLSECONDARY

SCHOOL PRINCIPAL II, HELEN N. YBAŇEZ TO APPROVE THE FOLLOWING
OFFENSES/PENALTIES REGARDING THE PROHIBITION OF SMOKING INSIDE AND OUTSIDE
THE SCHOOL CAMPUS WITHIN 100 METERS AWAY FROM SCHOOL PREMISES ALSO KNOWN
AS TOBACCO REGULATION ACT OF 2003 AS STIPULATED IN DIVISION MEMORANDUM
NUMBER 114, SERIES OF 2014. AS AGREED BY THE SSG OFFICERS, ANY STUDENT WILL BE
CAUGHT SMOKING CIGARETTES INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL CAMPUS WITHIN 100
METERS AWAY FROM SCHOOL PREMISES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING
OFFENSES/PENALTIES; FIRST OFFENSE, SSG OFFICERS WILL ADVICE ANY STUDENT CAUGHT
NOT TO SMOKE INSIDE THE SCHOOL CAMPUS AND OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL CAMPUS WITHIN
100 METERS AWAY FROM SCHOOLPREMISES; SECOND OFFENSE, SSG OFFICERS WILL LIST
THE NAME OF STUDENT CAUGHT AND FORWARD IT TO THE SCHOOL DISCIPLINARIAN FOR
DISCIPLINARY ACTION; THIRD OFFENSE, STUDENT NAME WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE
SCHOOL PRINCIPAL FOR FURTHER DISCIPLINARY ACTION; AND FOURTH OFFENSE, THE
STUDENT CAUGHT WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR ONE WEEK DEPENDING ON THE FINAL
DICISION OF THE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL.
WHEREAS, smoking is not good for the health;
WHEREAS, it is part of the school officials to discipline students as part of their training as
students of Quezon National High School;
WHEREAS, it is also part of the responsibilities of the students to follow all the school rules
and regulations stated in the students hand book.
WHEREAS, strict implementation of the school rules and regulations will lessen school
problems;
WHEREAS, imposing proper sanction to those who will violate any of the school rules and
regulations will refrain students from disobeying any of the school policies listed
in the students hand book;

WHEREAS, Supreme Student Government Organization as part of the law making body of
the
school has the responsibility to make laws in order to solve problems for the
welfare of the whole studentry;
WHEREFORE, upon the motion of Yesha Marie Angela Y. Abul, SSG Grade 7 Representative,
duly seconded by Mary Grace F. Carillo, SSG Grade 9 Representative.
RESOLVED, a resolution requesting the Quezon National High School Secondary School
Principal II, Helen N. Ybańez, to approve the following offenses/penalties regarding the
Prohibition of Smoking inside and outside the school campus within 100 meters away from
school premises also known as Tobacco Regulation Act of 2003 as stipulated in the Division
Memorandum Number 114, series of 2014. As agreed by the SSG Officers, any student will
be caught smoking cigarettes inside and outside the school campus within 100 meters away
from school vicinity will have the following offenses/penalties; First Offense, SSG Officers
will advice any student caught not to smoke inside and outside the school campus within
100 meters away from school vicinity; Second Offense SSG Officers will list the name of
student being caught and forward it to the School Disciplinarian for disciplinary action; Third
Offense, Student name caught will be forwarded to the School Principal for further
disciplinary action; and Fourth Offense, the student caught will be suspended for one week
depending on the final decision of the School Principal.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that this resolution will be forwarded to Helen N. Ybańez, Quezon
National High School Principal II, for information, consideration and approval.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION’s ANNUAL DONATION DRIVE ADVOCACY. THE SAID

THE RECIPIENT, DUE TO THE PANDEMIC.
WHEREAS, donation drive is part of the DepEd’s Program under DepEd Order 49, series of
2011 also known as The Supreme Student Government Programs, Projects, and
Activities;
WHEREAS, the Supreme Student Government Organization made an innovation to the said
donation drive;
WHEREAS, instead of purely school supplies, the organization made additional donations
namely; health kits, face masks, and face shields due to the current situation on
pandemic;
WHEREAS, donation drive activities will help the less fortunate students and motivate them
to continue their studies despite adversities;
WHEREAS, donation drive also shows the spirit of volunteerism, teamwork, and generosity
among student leaders;
WHEREAS, it is the duty and responsibility of the Supreme Student Government

Organization to help the less fortunate students to provide their needs relative
to pandemic.
WHEREFORE, upon the motion of Chealsea Charisse Ratunil, SSG Treasurer, duly seconded
by Trixie Marie J. Labang, SSG P.I.O.
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved requesting the Quezon National High School Secondary
School Principal III, Dr. Alex T. Solar to approve and support The Supreme Student
Government Organization’s Annual Donation Drive Advocacy. The said donation drive
advocacy will be done in the school campus and will be given to the less fortunate students
instead of the different elementary schools in the Municipality of Quezon and the IPs school
age children is supposed to be the recipient, due to the pandemic.
